fuckin love perplexity

And another request to give this feature to the app

Does the pdf upload support OCR for scanned documents? Cheers

What if the material it is given is obscure? Has there been any testing to see how well it performs on those types of material compared to more mainstream material?

Does Perplexity store the files permanently or is it temporary like chatgpt code interpreter?

@AIRevolutionZon Your files stay private. After 30 days file contents will not be accessible to follow-ups, but follow-up responses can still maintain context of previous questions and answers in that Thread.

Got it. Thanks. I wasn't aware of that. I assume "but follow-up responses can still maintain context of previous questions and answers in that Thread" this is permanent? or does it also expire after some time?

@AIRevolutionZon The whole thread is permanent until deleted.

Thanks for the confirmation

Amazing addition!

Interesting feature. Keep delivering!

This is crazy! 🔥 Love it 💯

You guys are killing it!

This is great, please also allow sharing link to google docs and google sheets to work with.

Why should we use you instead of Chatgpt with code interpreter or Claude 2?

Can you please add the button of ⏩ if the tokens of AI are limited

@shubhishukla @Debadrita29

what’s the context window size? same as gpt3.5 so 4k tokens?

This should be on the app ASAP

Yah i tried it it's great but still didn't catch up with chatpdf you guys are so much better that that I am sure this is going to be 💥

trying that feature. "Uploading" never ends

fantastic! 👌

Mark

Another amazing update. Already tried it and it works perfectly. Thanks!

Amazing!

Lovely continuation of works

😍

OpenAI code interpreter has competition!

Tried to upload a 25p pdf but the wheel just kept spinning. Tried a couple more times but ran out of uploads? Haven’t signed up maybe another day

what happen with birdy SQL?

Omg 😱

I just bought an annual pass before testing and immediately submitted my HOA rules and regulations and it doesn't answer the question. Will keep testing.

How about .CSV?

I’d love this on the App too. I used the option this morning I was impressed

If i upload a pdf will it be able to reference it in a future question outside of the original thread?

What’s the size of the upload supported?

We’re currently supporting up to 10 MB!
