NOW: NYU students have blockaded Bobst library with sleeping dragons calling for NYU to divest from death. Per release, “We were promised disclosure. We will get disclosure. We will escalate for Gaza. NYU students will not stop until our demands are met.”

Despite the sleeping dragons, demonstrators are allowing people to exit the library and opted to sit so their pipes wouldn’t bonk people on the head. One guy (in clip above) decided to be aggressive.

Audio: “It is the last day of classes at NYU. The entrance to the Elmer Bobst library is currently blocked off by New Yorkers & NYU students who demand NYU disclose its investments in the murder & displacement of people globally. Come join us in demanding NYU divest from death.”

Demonstrators are also playing leaked audio where admin promised to disclose their investments, which NYU has not yet done 9 months later.

NYPD shut off the speaker, provoking chants of “NYPD, KKK, IOF, they’re all the same.” NYU security now bringing in barricades to close on demonstrators and separate them from everyone else.
