Portland, Ore. — Antifa has increased their tactics outside the ICE facility, violently approaching vehicles driven by ICE and FPS officers as the federal agents leave for the night. Last night (Sept. 8), an ICE officer was forced to brandish a taser in self defense after black clad militants advanced on his vehicle. Antifa is trying to find the identities of the ICE and FPS officers guarding the facility— and have been showing up at their hotels. Portland police refuses to respond to the area outside the ICE facility, which has resulted in a large lawless zone controlled by protesters who attack anyone they perceive as opposition.

So it’s worth pointing out for the record that it looks like the whole thing started because of the DHS agents instigating things for no reason. Agents leave the building. As is the usual practice, protesters talk at them while walking backwards. At 0:14 a protester is clearly still walking backwards when the agent lunges forward and shoves them to the ground. After their friends help them back up and other protesters keep talking to the agents, at 0:40 an agent moves his shield to the side and grabs a protester (who doesn’t appear to do anything threatening) and shoves them down. Several other protesters get knocked down and some get tackled by DHS. And then at 0:57 the frog tries to help someone up who got pushed to the ground, and that’s when the DHS agents sprays their air intake hole.
