A family in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, was left traumatised after a migrant was spotted at around 5:30 pm creeping through back gardens and videoing through the windows of their home, where young children were playing inside. The incident happened in a residential area during the early evening. A parent alerted by strange sounds, looked outside and saw the man moving stealthily along fences before stopping at their house. He edged close to the windows, looking intently into the rooms where the children were and started recording.

Three wanted suspects have been killed in a gunfight with KZN police in Kranskop during the early hours of this morning. According to the SAPS: "Police acted on intelligence which uncovered the whereabout of the suspects and when they approached a residence at Mambulu area, a shootout ensued between police and an unknown number of suspects. Three suspects were shot and fatally wounded during the shootout and they were found in possession of firearms." The men are linked to this brazen cash van robbery in Kranskop in April this year, where one robber was killed in the explosion. During the incident, the gunmen also fired shots at the local police station. More armed suspects - who were able to escape arrest this morning - are still being sought. A driver was cited for reckless driving after crashing through a fence and into the backyard of a Fort Worth, Texas, home while children were outside Sunday, police said. The children, their parents and the driver were not injured. A passenger in the car was hospitalized with injuries. The family said they are grateful their children survived but are calling for stronger measures to hold reckless drivers accountable.
