According to Terry Gilliam, Robin Williams' character in "'The Fisher King' (1991) is in many ways the closest one to Robin, just that range — the madness, the damage, the pain, the sweetness, the outrageousness. That was the role I think that stretched him to the limits." Gilliam considered the filming of this important scene in the movie to be easy as far as effects were concerned, but as for acting, it was very hard as Robin Williams was tearing himself out emotionally. About how Robin Williams approached the scene, Gilliam said, "The interesting thing about Robin in all of those scenes was that he always wanted to do another take. He felt he had even more anguish and pain to spill out of the character. And I had to really stop him. I had to say, ‘Robin, you’ve reached a point here, way beyond what we expected. We’ve got what we needed. Now you’re just hurting yourself. That happened a couple of times while we were shooting this scene. The most worrisome moment for me was after he’s been chased by the Red Knight, when he’s running through the streets, and then he comes to the river, where the teenage punks arrive and knife him. We had to do other things on that night shoot, too, and things were going very slowly. Suddenly, we realized that we had like an hour until the dawn [would arrive]. The last shot we had to do was Robin running at the end of this scene, in this hysterical state. You can even see the light ever so slightly beginning to come on the river in the background. But Robin was so angry because it was such a crucial moment, and he felt he’d been cheated of his ability to really give this moment his all. And Robin was an incredibly strong guy: When he’d worked himself into this state of madness for the part, nobody could approach him. The first assistant, the stunt guy … nobody wanted to get near him. They were terrified. So, I had to go up there and tell him, ‘Robin, what we have here is very good. And if we look at the rushes and it isn’t, I promise you I will reshoot it.’ And I had to hug him basically, and hold him. I could feel these muscles that were so tense and so strong, they felt like they could easily r!p my he@d off. But that’s what was so extraordinary about him — how he would commit everything and more to what he had to do." ("Terry Gilliam Breaks Down a Particularly Hard Night With Robin Williams on The Fisher King", Bilge Ebiri, Vulture, 2014) P.S: Remembering the great American actor, Robin Williams, on his 75th birthday!

I shouldn't be showing you this. A woman went viral this week with a notepad and two columns. Old Testament on the left. New Testament on the right. She drew a lamb and wrote "6 DAYS" beside it in red marker. Her claim: the Passover lamb was set apart six days before it died. Feet anointed at six days. Head anointed at two days. Then she flipped to the Gospels. "Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany." Mary anoints his feet. "Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover." A woman pours ointment on his head. Six days, the feet. Two days, the head. Both columns line up perfectly. You feel it click. That click is the product. Now go open Exodus 12. "In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb." "And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month." FOUR DAYS. NOT SIX. And there is no anointing of the lamb. Not the feet. Not the head. Not anywhere in the chapter. The blood in Exodus 12 never touches the animal. It goes on the door. HER CHART vs YOUR BIBLE ✗ OT six days. Exodus 12 says four. ✗ OT feet anointed. Not in the chapter. ✗ OT head anointed. Not in the chapter. ✓ NT six days. John 12:1 ✓ NT feet. John 12:3 ✓ NT two days. Matthew 26:2 ✓ NT head. Matthew 26:7 Half the chart is real. Half was invented. And the invented half is the half nobody checks. She wasn't selling a lie. Nobody pays for a lie. She was selling a symmetry. A symmetry only has to feel true. Here is what should actually bother you. She didn't need to make anything up. "And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason." That is Egypt. A weed dipped in lamb's blood, struck on wood, and death walks past the house. "They filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth." That is Golgotha. Same weed. Lifted to the mouth of the Lamb of God. On wood. While he dies. And one more, from the same chapter she was reading: "neither shall ye break a bone thereof." At the cross they broke the legs of both thieves, came to the middle one, and stopped. "A bone of him shall not be broken." Nobody drew that on a notepad. It has been sitting in your Bible the whole time. So here is the part I actually shouldn't say. You own three Bibles. Maybe four. There is one in your car right now. You watched a stranger's chart for two minutes and believed it. Checking her would have taken ninety seconds in a book you already own and never open. That is why this works. That is why there is a monthly tier for it now, a paywall in front of the hidden meaning, somebody charging you rent on a book that is already yours. YOU ALREADY OWN THE BOOK. Check me too. Every verse above. Go look it up. That is the whole point. Full breakdown:

I took my son to our local butcher, well not too local, it’s about 30 minutes away. He’s getting to be at an age where he’s beginning to be extra compassionate. This is him taking my phone for whatever reason since he has his own, and recording the cows. My dilemma is I can’t hide from him anymore what the fate of these specific animals are. I’ve taken him to this butcher/farm off and on for years. He still loves eating his steak and ribs of course because who doesn’t. But now he’s beginning to associate the truth that the cows he goes and pets and befriends will be the same ones in the display counter where he picks out his steaks. Am I wrong for not wanting to clarify and tell him that’s the case, should I just let him find out on his own? He’s already going through puberty now as we speak, he’s been extra hormonal and angry. I don’t know if I want to add another burden for him. I don’t want to tell him the animals he loves are the ones he’s been eating. Part of me wants to just get it over with but a part of me wants to not say anything, I don’t want to speed things up for him too quick. He has no problem buying steaks from grocery stores and such. The problem I’m facing now is that this place that sells meat also is where they raise the cows for slaughter. So the ones we see on the farm will be the same ones weeks from now that we will be eating. I’m not sure what I want to do just yet but I’ll keep you posted.

Sergeant has zero understanding of the law, gets schooled as he becomes unglued. Westmont Police Sergeant Confronted by Independent Journalist over First Amendment Rights. A Westmont Police Department Sergeant, tasked with supervising officers and upholding the law, recently demonstrated a clear misunderstanding of basic constitutional protections during an encounter with an independent journalist. When the Sergeant attempted to claim that filming from a public space violated LEADS regulations due to visible information on an unshielded laptop screen, the journalist stood his ground. He clearly articulated established court precedents—including ACLU v. Alvarez, Glick v. Cunniffe, and Terry v. Ohio—reminding the officer that citizens have a protected right to record public officials performing their duties in public spaces. Furthermore, the journalist pointed out that officers bear the responsibility of securing their own confidential screens, rather than infringing on a citizen's constitutional rights. Faced with unwavering legal knowledge and no valid legal grounds for detention, the Sergeant was forced to disengage and leave the scene doing that walk of shame as he realized in the back of his head that he is about to become a social media star in a bad way. Know your rights and do not be afraid to stand up and exercise them. Together we will continue to make those that swore to protect the constitution but fail to do so famous. Meet officer Sergeant Rolando Padilla of the Westmont IL PD.

Excellent Breakdown Of The Mysterious “Suicide” Of The Hero Police Officer Who Saved 4 Lives During Oklahoma City Bombing Right before he ‘Committed Suicide’ he said, “They're not telling the truth about what's going on down there” “One year after the Oklahoma City bombings, this officer who saved four lives was found unalived under very strange circumstances. On April 19th, 1995, Sergeant Terrence Yeakey responded to calls that a bomb had gone off in the Murroff Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Sergeant Yakey was the first person to respond that day and was able to save four people before the second floor collapsed and he injured his back so severely he wasn't able to continue. An hour and a half later, police arrested Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, who were anti-government extremists. A year after the bombing, Sergeant Yakey and 90 other officers were selected to receive the city's medal of valor, but just three days before the ceremony, he was found unalived in a field near his hometown of El Reno, Oklahoma. His car was found abandoned along the side of a dirt road, and there was a lot of blood in the car, but his body was found about a mile into the field off of that road. No gun was found on the scene, but he had been shot in the head and he was covered in cuts as well. According to one report, quote, "While still inside his Ford Probe that he had parked on a lonely country road, Yakey slashed himself 11 times on both forearms, twice on his throat, then apparently seeking an even more private place to end his life, he crawled 8,000 feet through rough terrain and climbed a fence before putting a gun to his head, which apparently took him to the hereafter.” He didn't leave a note, there was no investigation or autopsy, but police still immediately ruled that he had taken his own life. Terry had an ex-wife named Tanya who was the mother of his children and she claimed when she picked him up from the hospital after the bombing, he quote, started crying and It's not what they're saying it is. They're not telling the truth about what's going on down there, but wouldn't elaborate any further. She claimed that two or three days after the bombing, he asked her to take him back to the site so he could check for something under the daycare center, but they were turned away. She claimed that his supervisor made him rewrite his report on the bombing and that he started showing up at her house at very strange hours and acting very anxious and afraid. She'd said he'd started gathering up all of their insurance paperwork for her to keep, he wanted them to get remarried so that her daughters would be protected if something happened to him, and she said that he, quote, knew something was coming fast and was trying to protect his family, but he wasn't fast enough. After he passed, she went bankrupt and lost their house, and she said she knew for sure if he'd planned to take his life, he would have made sure that they were taken care of first. His daughters didn't receive a cent of his pension. And Tonya said that the police department was much more concerned with promoting a narrative that he took his own life because he felt guilty for not being able to save more people during the bombing and that he was estranged from his wife and children, which was simply not true. So do you think that he took his own life or do you think somebody took it for him? And either way, why was there no investigation or autopsy performed?”

🌞 As for PerthSanta? Well.. Tata, actually, there’s never really been any issue with him. Tata is already a good kid, but he has one condition: he gets hot very easily. Santa really doesn’t handle heat well. Even if he’s exposed to just a little heat, he starts sweating. And it’s not just a little bit of sweat either he sweats like someone poured water over his head and it just comes pouring down 😭 🌞 : He really doesn’t do well with heat at all, so he always carries a little portable fan with him. Like, a tiny little fan that he keeps using all the time. So whenever we’re in a scene together, I have to keep an eye on him too, like, ‘Tata, are you hot? Are you getting hot yet?’ Things like that. 🌞 : As for Perth, that’s a whole different story. Since we play brothers, personality-wise, we’re actually both pretty mischievous but Perth plays someone who has to keep his emotions in check. He has to be serious and restrained, so he’s always like, ‘Hey, don’t tease me like that' but deep down, Perth actually really, really wants to tease people 😭 🌞 : So I kind of know what he’s like. He’s playing Yotha, who is quite a dark and serious character, and I worry that Perth might get too stressed from having to stay in that character all the time. So I like teasing him. And that’s why he always gets all flustered and uncomfortable. I actually enjoy seeing Perth get flustered while we’re acting, so I like messing with him~ // miss p10 cast so much 🥺 {#PerthSanta ♡ #เพิร์ธแซนต้า}

We end the week on a heartbreaking note. You will remember little RPD Stanley from HMPPS Operational Dogs and HMP Wormwood Scrubs. Stanley has not been well for a while now, and we have been supporting him for the last few months, knowing it would give him more time with his devoted Dad and handler Chris, and his partner Karen. They had a lovely Christmas, but Stan has deteriorated over the last week and yesterday, after a day of no yucky meds, and whatever he wanted to eat, he slipped quietly over rainbow bridge at home - surrounded by familiar smells, love, and cuddles. We’ve got to know Chris and Karen so well and our hearts go out to them both. It’s the worst decision to make, all dog owners know that - but they had to do what was best for him. It would have been Stanley’s 11th birthday today. They decided to let him go yesterday, as Karen said, today may have been his earthly birthday, but instead it’s his Birth Day into his new life, and we rather like that thought. Stan served for 9 and a half years - his finds were legendary. Two particularly memorable discoveries: After a search of one cell under suspicion - with nothing found - Stan kept ‘knocking’ on the next door, and Chris suggested they put him in. He popped onto the top bunk, and immediately put his paws on the wall and stared at the light. When they removed the light fitting, contraband ‘ literally rained down’ on them all.. A huge find. Another search, and Stan was ‘knocking’ round the base of the loo. They looked under at the floor - nothing. But Stan was insistent. He was right, the loo bowl had a false bottom, and there it all was. He always found what he was looking for, and it was only due to ill-health he retired. He was brilliant at his job. Sadly, a long retirement was not meant to be, but what an epic life he led - and what a character he was. Happy Birth Day over rainbow bridge little Stan - you will be missed so much. Sleep well, and thank you for your loyal service. 💜🐾🐾💜

🚨 DO NOT TOUCH WHAT GIVES A MAN PEACE! ⚠️ See exactly what I was talking about? This whole situation was supposed to be so simple. They should have just left the man’s coffee machine alone! Now, he has gone completely scorched-earth—and honestly? I don't blame him one bit.People need to understand that Warrant Officer Msandawana had already accepted his reality. He knew he was surrounded by corrupt hyenas. For the sake of his own sanity, he chose to keep his mouth shut and drink his coffee. But they just couldn't help themselves. They stole his machine, and then—to rub salt into the wound—they had the absolute audacity to interrogate him for its disappearance! Msandoskie looked at them and basically asked, “Are you guys absolutely sure you want to play this game?”He played it cool, waited for the polygraph results, and the second he passed with flying colours, the gloves came off: “Nou ek en julle gaan dieselfde kombers dra, manne! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!” 💀🔥 Since 2024, the man has been rolling up his sleeves and swinging mercilessly. Anyone who gets too close gets knocked out cold. Just yesterday, Reverend Dlangi had to step in and beg him to hold back certain explosive information. They pushed a quiet man too far, created a monster, and now he’s tearing them apart piece by piece.I’m willing to bet General Senonzozo tried to quietly buy him a brand-new machine to make the problem go away, but Msandoskie probably threw it right back: “I want my old coffee machine, not this rubbish!”As a fellow coffee lover, I stand with him 100%. Never mess with a man's peace. Finish and klaar! ☕️💥 #MadlangaCommission #ProtectGeneralMkhwanazi
