Brooks knows ball. Arch was solid but also very underwhelming at times.

Go back and watch the film from the Ohio State game last year. Sark called a great game. There were wide open receivers all day. Arch just could not hit them.

I don’t understand the yardage component to your assessment. There was ~100 yards left off the stat sheet when factoring in the 2 drops by Wingo and Coleman. 295 against Ohio State looks a lot better than 195.

One thing I’ve noticed is that he doesn’t put enough trust in his teammates. I mean, when your supposed top two weapons actually suck ass, I wouldn’t trust them either, but still. He also tends to bail out even when the protection is good.

@PH1Losophical Yes. I want to see him use his legs more. Ohio St played great zone coverage that forced check downs, and they tackled really well quickly on those too. Take what the defense gives, and if it's the run then take it. He's at his best when he just let's it rip

He's good he will be great if he can see those open receivers consistently and hit those passes.

Just have to point out, this is YEAR 4 for Arch. Redshirt, sat behind Quinn, and 2 years as starter. No excuses for not improving that much over time. Not much development going on in Austin.
