Ukraine's fortress belt has served as a major obstacle to the Kremlin's territorial ambitions in Ukraine over the last 11 years. The fortress belt is made up of four large cities and several towns and settlements that run north to south along the H-20 Kostyantynivka-Slovyansk highway, with a total pre-war population of over 380,537 people. Ukrainian forces first began building up defensive positions in and around these cities after retaking them from pro-Russian proxy forces who attacked and seized Slovyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, and Kostyantynivka in April 2014. Ukrainian forces have maintained control of these cities since July 2014. Ukraine has spent the last 11 years pouring time, money, and effort into reinforcing the fortress belt and establishing significant defense industrial and defensive infrastructure in and around these cities. Russia's failure to seize Slovyansk in 2022 and ongoing struggles to envelop the fortress belt underscore the success of Ukraine's long-term efforts to reinforce the fortress belt cities. Russian forces are currently still attempting to envelop the fortress belt from the southwest and are engaged in an effort to seize it that would likely take several years to complete.

A people, and a civilization, does not need to be burned to the ground to fall. It only needs to be replaced. Throughout the Western world, we are witnessing not mere immigration but a deliberate population transformation, one that has been rationalized by moral cowardice and enforced by political elites who have long since abandoned the idea that their nations belong to their people. What you mock as conquest is already underway, and unlike the conquests of old, it comes with the full consent of those in power. But I do not write in surrender. I write as a warning, as an act of resistance. My writing is meant to exhort and to enliven, to reawaken what has been buried beneath shame and silence. This is Tehran now. They are not Iranians. They don’t speak our language. They are Hashd Al shabi jihadists from Iraq speaking Arabic. Iran does not have a “government” that somehow kills “its own people”. Iran is under Arab-Islamic occupation for 47 years. The Ayatollahs just learned a bit of Persian, but they are all foreign enemies to Iran, killing Iranians and will continue to do so as long as they remain in power. Where is the anti-occupation crowd? Where are the opposers of “foreign invasion” when US and IDF troops came to take out these jihadists? Where are the UN and EU debates about breach of international law? Where is the “no war” rally for these guys patrolling the streets of Iran in preparation for a massacre? I support the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán Orbán Viktor , and I thank him for not bowing to the usurper and autocrat Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Today Zelenskyy has effectively usurped power in Ukraine. He persecutes his critics, arrests political opponents, and uses mobilization as a tool of repression. People are sent to war where they die, while none of Zelenskyy’s close associates or friends are mobilized or fighting. At the same time, Zelenskyy and his friends profit from the war. Many of his friends and business partners today are connected to the defense industry, particularly to the production of drones and missiles. This is why Zelenskyy is not interested in ending the war quickly. Zelenskyy also refuses to hold elections, hiding behind the war as an excuse. Moreover, he refuses to voluntarily step down from office, although he has every right to do so. Instead, he wants to remain in power without elections. Those who criticize the authorities are persecuted. In Ukraine there are illegal detentions and kidnappings of citizens on the streets. People are held by force and subjected to pressure. Many men today are afraid to even go outside because of forced mobilization. People are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to go to the front. According to relatives of the victims, sometimes large sums of money are demanded — tens of thousands of dollars — to avoid being sent to war. In this situation, many Ukrainians are forced to flee the country. They risk their lives, crossing borders through forests, rivers, and mountains to reach European countries. One of these countries is Hungary. I am grateful to Hungary for providing protection to Ukrainian citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are leaving their country today. And often they do so not only because of Russian missiles, but also because of fear of the actions of their own authorities and the system of forced mobilization. The Ukrainian people and the Hungarian people should live in peace and mutual understanding. Our countries must engage in honest and open diplomatic dialogue. There must be real diplomacy between Ukraine and Hungary, not the language of banditism used by Zelenskyy.

One of the favorite ongoing series among Ukrainians and many of our international friends has become watching Russian panic unfold in real time. 😁❤️ For a second day, Putin stands in Moscow insisting that everything is fine, that the economy is stable, and that the war is not affecting Russia. Meanwhile, ordinary Russians are suddenly asking: “What happened?” “What is going on?” “What caused this?” And the most astonishing part? The war has been going on for more than four years. And what can Ukraine do in this situation? I see few options, but one would be to delay the Russian advance with a good number of missiles, though personally, I find it unlikely that they will reach Ukrainian hands. It wouldn't have the power to change the balance of the war, but it would guarantee more time, which is important because the battlefield is dynamic, and the implementation of new tactics based on innovative weapons can change everything overnight. Russia is striking Kharkiv more often and with increasing intensity. Reasons for that: ◾️ Russia has not solved its problems on the frontlines. Our soldiers are in dire conditions, but they hold the defense in Kharkiv region and inflict colossal losses to the enemy; ◾️ The Kremlin wants to achieve humanitarian crisis and panic in Kharkiv; ◾️ Ukraine cannot drive away Russian aviation and reach the rocket launchers on the ground because they are on the territory of the Russian Federation. 🔹 How the situation may change: ◾️ Until now, the main direction for the Russian army has been the Donetsk region; ◾️ Kharkiv and (potentially) Sumy direction was seen as a way to distract and disperse the AFU forces; ◾️ but it is in Kharkiv that the enemy has a colossal advantage. And it is as follows: ‼️ Ukraine is not allowed to strike Russian territory with Western weapons. This is a huge dilemma for Ukraine: ⚡️ The more Western long-range means the Ukrainian army gets, the more reasons the Russians have to shift their focus to Kharkiv. This is how they can quietly amass troops and attack from the air without us being able to strike back. ◾️In Donbas, any enemy unit and its rear and logistics can be reached at a depth of up to 160 km, and even further in Crimea. But to the north of Kharkiv, it is only 20-25 km. ◾️ Over the border, the Russian army can be attacked with a very limited arsenal of means. ◾️ Our troops can use all means against the Russians only in a 25 km stretch, and all logistics of the Russians are de facto protected by the political decisions of the Western partners. In Kharkiv now, Shahed drones and missiles are hitting everywhere. About 400 thousand people live in the most dangerous zone. These are residential areas. 🔹 What is happening now: ◾️ Russians are trying to spread panic among these hundreds of thousands of people; ◾️ Kharkiv residents are not panicking and Kharkiv stands tall. This allows less resources from other areas to be brought in for defense than would otherwise be necessary; ◾️ The more stable Kharkiv is, the more Ukrainian forces can be directed to Donbas and Zaporizhzhia. I understand what Russia wants to achieve with its missile and drone strikes on Ukraine - namely, to destroy peaceful life and drive people into such a psychological state that they are ready to make any concessions just to end it all. However, such strikes have the opposite effect. They remind us that the war is ongoing and that it is not limited to the conflict in the east; they show that at any moment, a missile can take everything away from you. And the only way to prevent this from happening is to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to hate the Russians even more. I think we can cite examples from World War II, when Hitler's attacks on Great Britain did not break its confidence in the struggle. If the Russians aimed to cause a massive blackout, they failed, wasting dozens of missiles worth tens of millions. But we understand that strikes on oil refineries and other targets must continue! PS: These are small fragments from real life that I filmed. The video may not show it, but the shock wave was strong enough to cause quite intense emotions in me.

I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. Of course, the police were nowhere to be found! Attached is the live feed of that terrifying event. Nigeria is unbelievable! People protested against insecurity, & you pointed the end of the barrel at them BECAUSE YOU CAN, & THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! And where is Monday Okpebholo & Bola Tinubu?
