I am a Ukrainian, an independent Ukrainian blogger and journalist. I support the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán Orbán Viktor , and I thank him for not bowing to the usurper and autocrat Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Today Zelenskyy has effectively usurped power in Ukraine. He persecutes his critics, arrests political opponents, and uses mobilization as a tool of repression. People are sent to war where they die, while none of Zelenskyy’s close associates or friends are mobilized or fighting. At the same time, Zelenskyy and his friends profit from the war. Many of his friends and business partners today are connected to the defense industry, particularly to the production of drones and missiles. This is why Zelenskyy is not interested in ending the war quickly. Zelenskyy also refuses to hold elections, hiding behind the war as an excuse. Moreover, he refuses to voluntarily step down from office, although he has every right to do so. Instead, he wants to remain in power without elections. Those who criticize the authorities are persecuted. In Ukraine there are illegal detentions and kidnappings of citizens on the streets. People are held by force and subjected to pressure. Many men today are afraid to even go outside because of forced mobilization. People are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to go to the front. According to relatives of the victims, sometimes large sums of money are demanded — tens of thousands of dollars — to avoid being sent to war. In this situation, many Ukrainians are forced to flee the country. They risk their lives, crossing borders through forests, rivers, and mountains to reach European countries. One of these countries is Hungary. I am grateful to Hungary for providing protection to Ukrainian citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are leaving their country today. And often they do so not only because of Russian missiles, but also because of fear of the actions of their own authorities and the system of forced mobilization. The Ukrainian people and the Hungarian people should live in peace and mutual understanding. Our countries must engage in honest and open diplomatic dialogue. There must be real diplomacy between Ukraine and Hungary, not the language of banditism used by Zelenskyy.

One of the favorite ongoing series among Ukrainians and many of our international friends has become watching Russian panic unfold in real time. 😁❤️ For a second day, Putin stands in Moscow insisting that everything is fine, that the economy is stable, and that the war is not affecting Russia. Meanwhile, ordinary Russians are suddenly asking: “What happened?” “What is going on?” “What caused this?” And the most astonishing part? The war has been going on for more than four years. Only now are many people beginning to realize that there is a war. For years, millions of Ukrainians have lived under missile attacks, drone strikes, occupation, deportations, and constant fear. Entire cities have been destroyed. Thousands of lives have been taken. Yet many Russians remained silent as long as the consequences were happening to someone else. What concerns them now is not the suffering inflicted on others, but the inconvenience reaching their own lives. That is why Ukraine needs continued support. Support sanctions. Support international law. Support accountability. Support Ukraine. Because this war is not only about Ukraine. Slow Progress is the New Reality of Modern Wars There are many people commenting on Russian difficulties and coming up with numerous reasons for their alleged collapse. I absolutely do not see any collapse; on the contrary, Russia has already normalized a state of war in Ukraine, which boosts its economic and industrial growth. The difficulties faced by Russia today are the same as at the beginning of the war, with soldiers having to spend up to half of their initial salaries on their own equipment, delays in pensions, and a series of other problems that are mirrored on the Ukrainian side, even with all the support from allies. The war today is much less lethal than it was months ago, and both Russian and Ukrainian losses have significantly decreased during this phase. Lethality has fallen, but Russian advances persist. And why are they slow? Is it a Ukrainian tactic? No. They are slow because they are accompanied by the deployment of communication infrastructure like signal repeaters for drones, the advancement of artillery guided by drones, maneuvers using FAB and more recently ODAB bombs against Ukrainian drone operators' facilities, infiltration by reconnaissance teams, saboteurs, and a series of protocols they have developed. That conventional war with rapid advances no longer exists, and in the context of a battlefield dominated by drones, it is unlikely to return. Modern wars will have slow progress, as seen in the attacks and counter-attacks of the Russians and Ukrainians in this war. Contemporary military forces are still unable to see this new reality of war. When analyzing the Russian advance, it's important to consider that all these maneuvers take days to unfold, but the point is that the Russians have already adapted to this pace, not bothered whether a particular advance will take 3 weeks or 3 months. They advance continuously following tactical protocols with little threat from Ukrainian forces, which, without new equipment, have had their defensive tactics remain almost unchanged over the past two years, relying mainly on drones and making it easier for Russian studies of countermeasures. And what can Ukraine do in this situation? I see few options, but one would be to delay the Russian advance with a good number of missiles, though personally, I find it unlikely that they will reach Ukrainian hands. It wouldn't have the power to change the balance of the war, but it would guarantee more time, which is important because the battlefield is dynamic, and the implementation of new tactics based on innovative weapons can change everything overnight. A war that seems almost lost today could take a different turn in weeks. Time is crucial for Ukraine, which has fronts only about 130 km from cities like Zaporizhia and Dnipro.

Our soldiers are in dire conditions, but they hold the defense in Kharkiv region and inflict colossal losses to the enemy; ◾️ The Kremlin wants to achieve humanitarian crisis and panic in Kharkiv; ◾️ Ukraine cannot drive away Russian aviation and reach the rocket launchers on the ground because they are on the territory of the Russian Federation. 🔹 How the situation may change: ◾️ Until now, the main direction for the Russian army has been the Donetsk region; ◾️ Kharkiv and (potentially) Sumy direction was seen as a way to distract and disperse the AFU forces; ◾️ but it is in Kharkiv that the enemy has a colossal advantage. And it is as follows: ‼️ Ukraine is not allowed to strike Russian territory with Western weapons. This is a huge dilemma for Ukraine: ⚡️ The more Western long-range means the Ukrainian army gets, the more reasons the Russians have to shift their focus to Kharkiv. This is how they can quietly amass troops and attack from the air without us being able to strike back. ◾️In Donbas, any enemy unit and its rear and logistics can be reached at a depth of up to 160 km, and even further in Crimea. But to the north of Kharkiv, it is only 20-25 km. ◾️ Over the border, the Russian army can be attacked with a very limited arsenal of means. ◾️ Our troops can use all means against the Russians only in a 25 km stretch, and all logistics of the Russians are de facto protected by the political decisions of the Western partners. In Kharkiv now, Shahed drones and missiles are hitting everywhere. About 400 thousand people live in the most dangerous zone. These are residential areas. 🔹 What is happening now: ◾️ Russians are trying to spread panic among these hundreds of thousands of people; ◾️ Kharkiv residents are not panicking and Kharkiv stands tall. This allows less resources from other areas to be brought in for defense than would otherwise be necessary; ◾️ The more stable Kharkiv is, the more Ukrainian forces can be directed to Donbas and Zaporizhzhia. The opposite is true as well; ◾️ Russians will not be able to seize Kharkiv. But they will be able to make people's lives there unbearable and gradually destroy the city. ‼️ So, there needs to be a change in political attitudes in the West. It's about two things: 1️⃣ Perrmission to strike Russian territory, at least at a distance of 100 km. 2️⃣ Air defense and Western aviation as part of air defense. If Russian aviation is driven away from Kharkiv, then even in conditions of missile fire, the city will be a pillar of defense. And the Russians will achieve nothing. Now, the AFU resembles a boxer with his hands tied behind his back. Ukraine's hands must be untied for us to be able to defend ourselves!

Here is why the thugs moving in drones targeted journalists, beat them up and vandalized their equipment. As they were abducting our people in drones disguised as taxis, the media captured them. And as we all know, they fear the camera so much because they are aware of the crimes they commit against citizens. Let me encourage all of us to continue using our cameras to expose them and have them on record. Eventually, they will answer for every crime committed against the people of Uganda!

Ekpoma is bleeding. Kidnappers have taken over Edo state. They now go from house to house, kidnapping families; students most especially. I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. Of course, the police were nowhere to be found! Attached is the live feed of that terrifying event. Nigeria is unbelievable! People protested against insecurity, & you pointed the end of the barrel at them BECAUSE YOU CAN, & THERE IS ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! And where is Monday Okpebholo & Bola Tinubu? They latter promised to reduce your purchasing power & further slow down the economy, & he did! The former promised Edolites “insecurity” during his campaigns. IS HE FINALLY KEEPING THAT PROMISE?
