Now that the AGM software added the Variable Label feature, I can finally update all the stats to display actual values instead of percentages! It makes the UI look so much cleaner and way easier to read, just like a proper RPG should be😇 #Project_ROZE

TypeSafe AI's Diogo Almeida's elevator pitch for Jev: "Where the f**k is all the automation?" "AI is so unbelievably smart. Not that I hate on chatbots or coding agents, I love them myself, but it's so useless at all other stuff. It's tragic." "TypeSafe is making AI for software. We want to make AI powerful, not just for humans in the loop, but to actually build real software. Jev, to us, is our first model in this whole space to make [automation] way, way better." "I like Claude Code and Codex. I love the description from Garry Tan and them: It's just-in-time software. It makes software on the fly, and you can program software in natural language, but it has the same expressive power as software." "What I want instead is smart software. Instead of automating software engineering, I want to expand what software itself can do, such that things that should be automatable can then be automatable." "I want to express things like intent. I want to expand the vocabulary of what we can do." "Programming is hyper-specifying valuable things and then infinitely replicating them. It's so freaking cool." Diogo Almeida

Cursor CEO Michael Truell on the future of writing code: "Our goal with Cursor is to invent a new type of programming." "It looks like a world where you have a representation of the logic of your software that does look more like English." "You can imagine kind of an evolution of programming language towards pseudocode. You have written down the logic of the software, and you can edit that at a high level." "It won't be the impenetrable millions of lines of code, it'll instead be something that's much terser and easier to understand and easier to navigate." Michael Truell with Lenny Rachitsky on Lenny's Podcast

Instead of trying to decode the parking sensor signals directly, I decided to replay captured signals and see how the display responds. With some help from Codex and a few iterations, I figured out how the data is structured and managed to control the display from an ESP32. With that figured out, decoding the data coming from the original controller became much easier. I put everything into a library that can both read the controller data and control the display:

Grok just got "Read Aloud" feature now you can just listen to Grok response, in a stunningly natural, human-like voice instead of reading everything Let the world’s smartest AI do the talking

So many little UX/UI edits with the change from web to mobile! So many people said 'just do a wrapper, or pwa'. So glad we went native... coming in a few weeks! We've... - ⏱️ moved the List and End time info from the bottom, all the way to the top. Because they are there to be 'seen' but not 'tapped' - 🟡 added a FAB button to make it easier to add tasks when your list is long - 🧭 added tab bar navigation - woo!! - added modals instead of drop-downs for interactions - 📳 added haptics! and they seriously make it so awesome - 🐣 included some easter eggs - Lulu is now on the screen and tapping her will reveal Barry.. and other stuff (later)

🐰: i just feel that i can be myself in the way i want to be because valentino gave me so much space, and it makes me realize that everyone can be anything, as long as they are themselves. it makes me understand that i have worth just as i am, and that is enough #OneDayWithFreen

Alcohol industry exposed! Every single food and drink company right from biscuits, noodles, chocolates, chips soft drinks all HAVE TO display a nutrition label. But the alcohol industry does NOT have to display any label. Even though water has 0 calories, it is still mandatory for packaged drinking water to display nutrition label. Then why does alcohol have no nutrition label? The answer is lobbying. Alcohol companies strongly lobby for the government to not have labels be mandatory. I understand that even if there was a label, it wouldn’t stop drinkers, but instead of having 3-4 drinks, they would cut back a little bit. Not only nutrition labels, alcohol industry does not even have clear warning labels. Just the way cigarettes display a clear warning label, there should be one for alcohol outlining its health risks. Alcohol has become a rampage amongst the youth in India and we need to get together to reduce it’s consumption! That’s why I started a petition to have the government make it mandatory for both of these labels to be on every alcohol bottle. Sign, share, and be a part of the movement!

The JURY, REDUB’D! Loved The Jury so much I gathered all my friends from our friend group to redub the trail scenes. This one doesn’t feature narration and instead added improv lines! Enjoy!

I saw many people sharing this picture of the Princess of Wales with Hubert Mensah. But I think what people failed to understand is his why. So I’m going to share his post from LinkedIn. Congrats to both him and his team and the lovely sentiment he shared about Catherine. I like to give the location of where the picture comes from so that people can get proper credit. I added some music and put it in video to make it easier for you to read. All pictures are from his LinkedIn. The last picture is the picture of him and his group.

CDPR released an update for The Witcher 3 Remastered that massively improves the visuals. They fixed the brightness and color tonemapping and the shadows look way punchier now. It honestly looks like a proper remaster now.

Small update to the Skeleton component. You can now wrap your actual UI with Skeleton, set isLoading, and everything inside will automatically animate as a loading state. Cleaner API, less duplicated placeholder markup.
