Now that was a surprise standout sequence if I've ever seen one. This small SHAFT-like/Monogatari-esque exposition scene in Uma Musume Cinderella Gray #19 caught me off guard. Very unique creative direction here alongside some kagenashi touches just to underscore the severity.

Hey guys! Today is my birthday 🎉 To celebrate, I decided to drop a little before/after comparison from one of the projects I worked on. This was a small animated sequence for a feature-length film and the main challenge was achieving very realistic, hand-drawn textures in every single frame. I think it turned out pretty great, literally every frame here is unique and made purely by human hands. No shortcuts, just love, patience and a lot of pixels🤙🏻✨

Honestly... this makes a lot of sense. I've lost count of how many times I've regenerated an AI video just because someone was standing in the wrong place or the camera angle felt off. If I can quickly lay out the scene first and then let the model generate from that, I'd much rather work that way than keep tweaking prompts over and over. Seems like a really useful addition for anyone making AI videos. Props to TopviewAI for building this.

If you ever played World of Warcraft, you might see some inspiration here! I've been a player since day one, 2004! FF14, EverQuest, RuneScape, Lineage, Guild Wars, etc. I've seen it all, which also caused me to fail 2 years of high school lmao. Dungeons and boss fights will play a big part in where we're heading. We'll be adding an optional hard mode to a lot of the bosses, so we can get that souls vibe a bit.

one year has officially passed since SU!! when i got accepted, i was an overwatch streamer that had no idea how to break out of my niche. it felt like if i wasn’t playing a specific game no one cared what i was doing. now i get to do anything and take yall along with me 🥹 SU introduced me to such a broad audience, new collaborators, and new friends. it’s so strange to think that SU was the catalyst for having a friend convince me to move to LA LOL it’s crazy that i get to work alongside some of my favorite creators now. it’s insane that i get to put together projects that people want to see and be part of. i’m so grateful to have mentors behind the scenes that push me to thrive in this wild world of content. thank you to everyone that’s supported me in my streams, on my socials, and even if you just say hi to me in another chat. i appreciate yall more than you know 🤍 even if you don’t see me often now, you will soon. always going bigger and better.

This is the exact moment that I decided to go off-grid in 🇵🇹 Portugal 😂 After being connected to another department and put on hold for 30 minutes, Portugal's electricity provider EDP hangs up on me, for no reason, the second time If you've ever dealt with companies in Portugal, you'll know that every single interaction is just hair pullingly bad: every small problem turns into a giant Kafka-esque nightmarish ordeal that'll stretch out for months trying to get it solved. The level of sheer incompetence of Portuguese companies is just beyond your imagination, I've never experienced this anywhere living all over the world, and I've lived here for a few years now and speak Portuguese Why are Portuguese companies so bad? - nepotism -> they use gov connections/bribes to get monopolies on entire markets, so they don't have to compete much - low competition -> low quality products and services - very exploitative of their workers -> they pay low, treat them like shit, so workers don't care about their work - that makes the companies anti-customers -> they treat you like shit too - all of this is -> very very bad for Portuguese society at large and good for a few rich Portuguese families who control things here People regularly ask me "why are you still in Portugal if so much stuff sucks?", well, because I love it here for the climate, the clean air, the nature, the food, and the people are amazing I feel there's no other solution for me than to just go completely off-grid for my sanity: 📡 I already got Starlink to get internet from space 💸 I've closed my Portuguese bank accounts, and use Revolut to pay my tax 🔋 I'm now getting solar panels + batteries (to quit EDP) 💧 Possibly harvest rain water? This is quite funny. We're visiting Kamakura in Japan and we came across a large group of Chinese tourists in a place that, at first glance, looked nothing special. Turns out that this very spot is one of THE most iconic locations in Japan for Chinese people who grew up in the 1990s. Why? Because in the 1990s there was this Japanese basketball manga called "slam dunk" that every kid was watching in China, and the opening credits featured an image of this very spot: a railroad crossing on a small street leading to the beach in Kamakura. Apparently this place is so popular with Chinese tourists that they had to cordon it off at some point. Now it's obviously reopened with 3 guards assigned to handle the traffic. And now that they've heard about it, it's my daughters' turn to be hooked on the series so maybe in 20 years' time they'll be perpetuating the passion and come back to this "Slam Dunk" shrine ☺️

I just dropped myself into a Taylor Swift-style music video without writing a single prompt, timeline, or storyboard. I uploaded one photo and the song. That's it. Taking it off was like the choice to let go of that guilt and judgment ☆ The names on the tree. Carving their names into the tree feels like their permanent vow. Hi everyone Great news, we have sucesfully cashed out all the money from the wallet that the mom gave us, and this morning me and my brother, went to their village to give them the money in exchange for the solanas raised It took some effort and help from 28. Jun to prove that the crypto community actually raised all this money, but luckily they managed to pull it off. With the 19 000$ that we have raised + what 28Jun has raised, we have purchased a new home for them in their village ( il get the photos of that too) , as this one was not in great condition and it is too small for such a big family. I would like to thank u all for participating and proving that when its a good cause, we can all come together and help, no matter the country, race or nationality Here are some photos i took from this beautiful family

As a graphics engine coder I think when you look at a flickering bug like this one in the video below it’s not immediately obvious what is going on. The key here is observation - to study this flickering/bugged render carefully - what do we see? Firstly for me it was very obvious that nearly all of the scene shadows were flashing on and off - but (but!) there was a secondary issue where some buildings and parts of the sky were also flashing purple. Hmmmm. Interesting. I initially thought then this might be two separate bugs - but because the sky purple element could only based on full screen post fx and not 3D rendering I looked at this first with a few GPU captures to step through all our post processing to find the rendering stage which made these pixels turn purple: When I did this I found the colour 3D texture LUT grading that makes our different biomes have unique colour palettes was going very wrong - colours near 0 or 1 were wrapping and making the purple elements that we see in the said sky and base parts. The only way this could happen was if the texture was corrupt (which it was not) or if the 3D texture sampling was wrapping and not clamped as intended. That was the Eureka moment - because if the post fx had the wrong texture sampler then the disappearing shadows which also require an exact texture sampler for comparing depth might be also wrong because of the same kind of texture sampling issue! So with this idea that the engine was using the wrong texture samplers, but only in very high draw call scenes like the big base here I the looked at some engine limits and found the bug very quickly - a circular dx12 descriptor buffer for samplers running out over multiple frames, reusing the wrong data for new scenes inflight. Hence the flickering, as the GPU randomly got wrong samplers for some post textures or shadow depth. Easy to fix with triple limits for future expansion and also adding an assert/debug spam in case this limit is ever reached again - QA testers would see this message and report if they ever saw a flicker with this style of bug. My bug and my bad from 2017 porting NMS to DX12 without foreseeing how massively complex bases and our game would grow.

I'm very impressed with the Streaming quality of the #PSPORTAL , From button press to game loads in about 10 seconds. I never used it before because I was always running this via Remote-play, but now that I've been playing this way for a few hours.... I'm at a Loss for words, this feels just like I'm playing it on my PS5, I even tried Fighting Games and the input lag was almost non-existent, I've tried streaming services in the past (Stadia, GE Force Now, X cloud) But none of them felt this good, this is crazy, if the PS6 Handheld has this feature I'm definitely going to be using it more often, this save me a lot of memory/storage and download times. #PSportal 👑 #Playstation 💙

I'm at a Loss for words, this feels just like I'm playing it on my PS5, I even tried Fighting Games and the input lag was almost non-existent, I've tried streaming services in the past (Stadia, GE Force Now, X cloud) But none of them felt this good, this is crazy, if the PS6 Handheld has this feature I'm definitely going to be using it more often, this save me a lot of memory/storage and download times. #PSportal 👑 #Playstation 💙
