@BenjiBacker It’s not about the hydrocarbons. It’s all about control. #ClimateScam

@BenjiBacker Context: Steamboat Institute is a propaganda mill funded by the fossil fuel industry.

@BenjiBacker This is false. Californians who drive EVs charge mostly A) between 11p and 6a using wind, nuclear and some baseload fossil fuels, or B) from home batteries that were charged from rooftop solar while they were at work. No one charges when demand and prices are highest.

@BenjiBacker What do EVs and blood diamonds have in common

@BenjiBacker LOL nah, Benji is an asshole. As are all of you, at your "institute."

@BenjiBacker The government secretly imports electricity from other states

@BenjiBacker Bring back common sense.

@BenjiBacker same concept applies to manufacturing. "Economy of scale" had a lot of negative downstream impacts. Need to completely rethink the role of government in the economy. The U.S. Market shouldn't be a cash cow for investors, financial services, or the government.

@BenjiBacker A large-scale battery farm helps store electricity from solar, wind, hydro for evening hours to charge, which reduces other caustic energy sources. There's no free lunch, though; precious metals used to make batteries, and solar panels damage the environment. It's a lesser evil.

@BenjiBacker Fuck you, lying scum
