My eldest son was once covered with bees. Instinctively, I brushed them off of him, in panic. Walking back to the house, he said, "Aren't you allergic to bees, Mama?" "Yes, babe." He had a look, that I'll never forget. Wow. Retelling that, brought tears. He's 29.
