This was the 1992 Hooters 500 in Atlanta. Davey Allison had a 30-point lead coming into the race. During the race, Late in the race Ernie Irvin had a blowout in front of Davey Allison and took Davey Allison out of contention. Alan Kulwicki won the championship. Bill Elliott won the race. Other notable events were Richard Petty last race and the 1st cup race Jeff Gordon I was there, it was a very cold November afternoon. It was truly a race for changing the guard of NASCAR. The next year we lost both Alan Kuwicki and Davey Allison to aircraft crashes.

The problem is NASCAR would never, ever, do that today. Never... you love your history, then you shit on it everyday by not respecting it.

There ain't nothing bad ass about NASCAR anymore you have destroyed the sport I mean I'm glad the Chicago race turned to the racetrack but it is not the same sport anymore

Hell yeah, that’s how you rip asphalt.

I was there 👍

Bring this back! 🤩

Being at a race and witnessing the pre-race festivities is so awesome

That is badass

😎

I find it interesting that you name this as badass since it was long before you fags banned the Confederate flag. This was real NASCAR and it included the flag. Bring it back, homos.

Libs

#43 last race.

You’re the ones who can bring it back

Hello

This Is Nascar 🏁

You never know to what lengths ICE will go, to catch "illegal" immigrants in the country. j/k I seen this exact thing happen at this years Indy500.

It be even more so if you put the races back on network TV so people can see it.

I'm glad we didn't have social media when I was growing up. Social media is destroying everything good in the world.

It's pathetic, realy.
