This is when they were a real band before the Michael Mcdonald years that completely changed the band for the worst

“Okay, everybody, who likes the Doobie Brothers? 'Cause we've got one of them!”

Still love the Doobie Bros.

So we're just ignoring this guy's helmet?

This music is an era music, meaning that when you hear it you feel the YEARS around it, and not just cheesey ass Taylor Swift music.

Very hard to beat this guys with vocals. They were so good.

What were once vices are now habits is one of the best albums of the 70's.

My dad took me to see them in 1978 as a 10 year old. Ambrosia opened for them. Baton Rouge, LA.

The drummer a time traveler with a go pro helmet.

The Doobie Bros., as God intended.

Early 70s Doobie Bros were fantastic, I especially like Rockin' Down The Highway.

I was on a music cruise and went to an event hosted by Michael McDonald. He started talking politics like asshole musicians like to do and I walked out.

I loved listening to them. My ex was a drummer and always played Minute by Minute. One of the bedt groups ever. ❤️

You can understand the words, no heavy processing on the vocals, just human talent

Where’s the Auto-Tune and stupid face tattoos? We really had it so much better back then!

Hard to argue with this one. The Doobie Brothers had a way of making a song feel like the windows ought to be down and the road ought to stretch another hundred miles. “Listen to the Music” still sounds just as good today.

A lot better than rap that's for sure.

Extra credit: which member holds high national security clearanaces and was a consultant specializing in ballistic missile defense, counterterrorism, and systems analysis ?

Love that line.. 😂

Yes if you like a group with 3 decent songs😂🤣😂🤣

💯💯💯 I Love this Classic Song soooo much by the #DoobieBrothers, that I had a Bet with a Fellow Music Head (that there's a #Banjo playing in the Chorus) Thank God for @Google I WAS RIGHT

They had 2 number one hits; 5 top 10 hits; 10 top 20 hits; 16 top 40 hits!

Better before Michael McDonald.

@4thOfJuly365 What they lacked in looks they made up for in talent.

Looks like the Princess Bride guy😄

Tiran Porter always impressive on bass.

Great song… hate the lip syncing though….

Its my Mom's favorite band, and I have never seen what they look like.

love it... and they were one of the best groups ever to tour a B-52!

The Doobie Bros is amazing music! When they added Michael McDonald, pure magic! 😍🥰😍🥰😍

So many Great Bands in that era. I'll never forget these Doobie Brothers on my FM radio in the 70s.

I've still got that 45rpm single

Is that skunk Baxter with the shades?
