Now to curse your timeline, I’m sharing the redrawn colorized version for a new “Flirting vs. Harassment”-type post: (The “So Long, Folks!” tag isn’t here because it was cut out of this print of the short and not replaced by another ending card.)

“Wasn’t this short in the AAP package?” Yes: while Turner was responsible for the computer colorized versions of the black-and-white Warner Bros. shorts that Warner owned again after merging with Seven Arts, Turner redrew AAP’s black-and-white WB shorts when they bought them.

The turner redraws somehow manage to look shittier than the unofficial 70’s redraws of some of these shorts

This reminds me how in my childhood, the local TV only aired Fleischer's Popeye cartoons as those awful redrawn color versions, and I thought the animation was bad solely for being "too old". When I finally could watch the original b&w shorts I realized how I was robbed as a kid.

Why is the colored version is less smooth than the B&W Version?

What short is this?

It now looks more like a typical 80s -early 90s television cartoon, especially with the way they decreased the animation framerate from ones to twos.

Man, they did a really rough job.

Is the color version missing frames, or is this just a poor recording?
