Our Lord and the Christian political tradition predate all of the sophistry of secularists. It's always so foolish when people who reject Christ and hate His teachings try to manipulate Christians into accepting their very narrow modern version of politics.

Being a Christian is about loving thy neighbor, not bullying LGBTQ people, chasing pregnant women across state lines, harassing librarians, silencing teachers, and defunding our schools. I refuse to let Christian nationalists twist a religion of love to justify their hate.

When we follow Christ, we are told to pick up our cross. The cross is never easy. Life is unfair and life is hard to Christians and non Christians alike. Followers of Jesus have peace despite the cross they carry. Peace that defies human understanding. When we follow Jesus, the burden becomes easy because we have Him the God of the impossible to lean on to. My real life is what comes after this life, and that will be glorious! SSD!
