You can tie them, but they need to be on a level ground and also spread out so if one tips it doesn’t knock others over.

States right on the tubes bury half way in the ground. You need sand first, then you bury bit half way for support. Tying them together is okay, but you should use a secondary wick to time the fuses for a better display. This is just asking to be blown up even with 1.

We never fired these off grass. Had special metal and cement stands for them. Having one fall over just before firing is most definitely a bad thing.
