And, critically, the apps you create are hosted, secured, and fully managed by Microsoft, connecting natively to the places you already keep business data. So no more "check out my cool app at localhost:3000" or "great, now I need to spin up a bunch of services and jump through a bunch of approval hoops to deploy this thing." Works a treat 🤙 just spent last few hours taking my custom HTML ‘apps’ that were live linked to SP lists and getting exact react apps linked but also connected to copilot studio and power automate workflows. Slick as a fox who’s got a degree in cunning from Oxford uni 😂

Studio can build agents, workflows, and apps that all work over the same data, and Cowork will soon get skills to do this inline as well.

Getting from a rough idea to something a colleague can open is the useful shift. Ryan, when do admin controls step in: before a link goes out, or only when the app touches sensitive company data?

I would say governance is there before you even ask Cowork to build something — access controls, data policies, credit management all just work natively and are respected by Cowork. End users always connect as themselves, so no data leaks. *Way* different than vibecoding in some separate platform.

How does this differ from App Builder? Will App Builder continue to be available?

Think of this as App Builder all grown up. We learned a few important things in that preview: - most folks don’t want to have to switch to a separate agent to build something, it’s great to be able to work with Cowork on an analysis then turn it into an app - the state of the art has changed a lot in a year; Cowork with a proper harness is producing *much* better apps
