Ghanaians, especially NPP supporters: President Mahama married Lordina and started his family long before he became President. Ghanaians voted for John Mahama NOT his wife, not his children, and not his private family. If you have political grievances, direct them at the President and his policies. His family was never on the ballot and was never elected to public office. Parliament should seriously consider stronger legal protections against targeted harassment of the President’s immediate family. Political criticism is fair, but dragging unelected family members into partisan attacks crosses a line. Hold leaders accountable. Leave their families out of it.
