Donโ€™t know about this but you can take a core sample of sediment anywhere on earth and test the layers corresponding to the years for the presence of plutonium, which is only made by man, and you will notice a peak of plutonium sometime around the early 60s coinciding with when the militaries were doing the atmospheric test all over the world, then it starts to drop off. I personally saw this in my chemistry department
