The Visual Studio Code insiders version that just shipped and will ship in the next few days will come with an insane amount of new capabilities. A few highlights: - You can now run sub-agents in parallel. Yes, really. I even attached a video. - Major UX improvements for sub agents, especially visible in the chat window - A new search tool wrapped as a sub-agent that iteratively runs multiple search tools: semantic_search, file_search, grep_search Which connects nicely to the point above: multiple searches running in parallel, efficiently and fast - Anthropic’s Message API is now enabled by default - You can choose the model for the cloud agent (three available, all premium) - Extended thinking support when using the Claude cloud agent This is part of the broader multi-vendor cloud support under AgentsHQ I wrote about a few weeks ago - Tasks sent to the background agent (basically the CLI tool) now always run in isolation, each with its own git worktree - In a multi-repo workspace, assigning a task to a cloud agent prompts you to choose the target repo Same behavior when opening an empty workspace with no repo - Support for building an external index for files not supported by GitHub’s default indexing - UI/UX improvements for starting new sessions and switching between local / background / cloud agents - Skills are now first-class citizens, just like prompt files, with better UX indicating when a skill is loaded - Improved API for dynamic contribution of prompt files New V2 includes skills as part of the model. Rivian is releasing this super cool Halloween update where you can “dress up” your Rivian in one of three themes. Another showcase of their vertical integration of software / hardware / fun engineers! The “Trunk or Treat” option is perfect for leaving your Rivian in the driveway to create a spooky aura during the trick-or-treat hours 😱. There are a few different freaky music choices but the best part is you can select from a bunch of different scary sounds from a sound board on your mobile app to freak people out as they approach your truck. This comes on top of the other fantastic improvements found in the software package 2024.39 - which include a gauge cluster refresh, third zone climate control (rear can now be set to a different temp), and more! Today I'm launching a very early release of MLX Model Manager ( A Swift package for quickly and easily adding LLM/VLMs with just a couple of lines of code into your MacOS/iOS applications for local and private inferencing. This is built on the amazing work of the MLX team & what they have done with MLX Model Manager unifies the work they have done with MLXLLM as well as MLXVLM into one package with added abstractions to simplify the usage. I've also added support for Google's new Paligemma2 Vision Model ( You can see a demonstration in the video below! Huge shoutout to Awni Hannun for the creation of MLX, David Koski on leading the charge for MLXVLM and Prince Canuma for the creation of MLX-VLM. Three massive pillars in the MLX community among many others.

"Mega Man X5 Improvement Project Addendum" is about to become "Mega Man X5 Tweaks." Long overdue. The first release aims to make most changes from the Addendum project available individually, including those additional "hex editor" options that some of you might have missed entirely. And everything I've been working on for the past couple of years: 🤖 Armor sprites displayed by Parts (the big one) 🤖 Special Weapons (regular and charged) available for all Armors 🤖 Boss Parameters (Health Bars, Leveling System options, damage and speed values for select moves, and reduced idle times) And a few localization choices that previously were impossible to mix and match: All the English scripts we've gone through: 🤖 Original PS1 version 🤖 Original PS1 + MMXLC2 changes (what we had up to v1.5) 🤖 Retranslation (what we've had since v1.6), now available with either the new or the original font And also: 🤖 Japanese, with all the necessary graphics changes included ...And a bunch of Title Screen options. Why not. The GUI is still a work in progress, obviously, but it's growing daily. I might include a couple of extra things too. The important thing is that every issue under the hood that prevented this from being possible from the start has already been solved. See you soonnn

#BreakingNews #UrgentRescue Since the last few days, many of you reached out to us about a viral video of an elephant in visible distress. Our team has been constantly on the ground, searching for him, working undercover, monitoring the situation closely and gathering critical information. After a lot of hard work, we have finally been able to locate him. This is a risky operation for our team and we can not divulge much information right now. Watching him is deeply traumatising. The bull elephant struggles to take unsteady, painful steps, yet he is still being forced to walk on harsh concrete roads. His right front leg appears badly damaged, and years of being used for begging and heavy labour have taken a painful toll on his body. He urgently needs immediate medical care and rescue. With the support of the Uttar Pradesh Forest Department, we are working to bring him to safety and begin critical treatment at our Elephant Hospital Campus (EHC) in Mathura. We have to act NOW.
