NVIDIA Bubble Demo (2000)

The companies entire stock is now doing a bubble demo

Is this the dotcom bubble that ended up bursting?

Sick

@TheGoldenDays Never seen this one before 👀

the original ball

THE ball

this guy gets it

Veeeery bubbly. Must have been peak animation skill at its time

@f4micom I want Zara Larsson and Charli XCX to discover these aesthetics so bad

yeah the multiples line up. but cisco was selling capex hardware to dot-coms that disappeared overnight. nvidia is selling recurring inference compute on multi-year hyperscaler contracts. the demand floors aren't the same shape.

Back when nvidia was still interested in making actually cool tech

🔥🔥🔥

@hAy_gaby The “dotcom bubble” lol

btw

why... does this unlock a memory?

Miss stuff like this. The Dolby Digital and DTS demos were my favourite

Wows that’s incredible actually

Is there a link to the environment map used in this demo? I’d love to grab a copy!

26 years... I remember this like it was yesterday

ballinnn
