NYT video on new gun owners.

They sound like a group of people who own guns but think assault weapons should be banned.

2A is for everyone and the NYT seems probably thought this was gonna be a gotya. The heavier set fella made the most sense out of everyone.

Like the plot to a dystopian movie, New York will now monitor social media writings, collect data, and use law enforcement to crack down on any expression it deems to be hate speech.

I mean I bought my first firearm in 2020, I was like a lot of them, kinda scared and didn't understand firearm law. Now straight up I am pro 2A and every single gun law is an infringement. If people could take a sec to read up and understand laws we could have a huge culture shift of pro 2A individuals. If you have people buy firearms and don't bother to think for themselves, we have a bunch of people say they "They support the 2nd amendment but..."

That’s a pretty good video. It humanizes gun owners: they have legitimate concerns, anxieties, and even responsibilities that only addressed with firearm ownership.

‘Need to protect myself from “right-wing, white nationalism” …………….. Don’t they realize ‘the right’, are the ones that encourage people to take their own protection onto themselves? That they encourage people to arm themselves AND learn/train how to use those arms? It’s ’the left’ that wants them defenseless and vulnerable and fearful…..

When the text on screen said "California" I was anxiously awaiting a Kostas cameo and was sorely disappointed when that didn't happen.
