"O Brother, Where Art Thou?" is a 2000 comedy-drama film directed by Joel Coen and co-written by the Coen brothers. Set in 1937 rural Mississippi, the film follows three escaped convicts, played by George Clooney, John Turturro, and Tim Blake Nelson, as they embark on a journey to find a hidden treasure. The story is loosely based on Homer's epic poem "The Odyssey." The film features a mix of adventure, humor, and satire as the protagonists encounter various characters and obstacles on their quest. The film's soundtrack, which consists of bluegrass and folk music, was a critical and commercial success, winning a Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
