Everyone in the comments complaining, John stands with truth, he’s one of the few CCM artists that haven’t deconstructed.

If you don't like the song, that's fine. But don't trash John Cooper or Skillet. Unlike most other artists, he (and the rest of them) are faithful to the Lord.

To all the people who say its not Christian because of the style, or its to heavy to actually worship God Its not your preference. Thats all you have to say. Theres a light version released with the regular as well. Don't claim it cant do good just because its not for you.

Even if you don't like metal, there is no reason to think this is a bad thing. Metal is not inherently satanic. There are plenty of incredible Christian metal bands, just like there are plenty of Christian rappers (who sound horrible to me). People enjoy different kinds of music, largely dependant on what they were raised listening to, and there should be Christian music for all of them. Skillet isn't my favorite Christian metal band, but I'm definitely adding this one to my playlist it sounds awesome

I missed this Skillet sound so much. I never got into almost anything past Collide, but I'm loving this sound. Also ignore all the pharisees who would be telling King David he was sinning when he had a rad rock show praising God.

This is incredible. Need more of this. A full Christmas album that hits like this.

There is no point in arguing with those who are blind, we are to pity and pray for them and love them as they are fellow brothers and sister in Christ. A bunch of people here are critiquing this for being too hard of rock for a Christian to do. I would not use this version in Church but there is nothing sinful about this. I'm a Skillet fan, but this isn't my favorite song as it has such a radical shift from the 1st 3 minutes which are more the normal hymn to this, & thus the song doesn't seem so united.
