Most Californians have had enough. Driving through Oakland last holiday season, Oakland was appalling. Armed guards in front of gas station convenience store, & homeless trash piles engulfing entire blocks.

What many might not know is that Oakland has very poor areas, but also has rich areas (in the hills). Hilton resonates with some of those in the hills, but I doubt if most in the flats support him. Reducing red tape (!?!?) doesn't resonate w those just getting by.
