Oasis - The Masterplan For most bands this would be their greatest ever tune. For Oasis it was a b-side.

I can not be the only one who has heard this time a 1000 times…but never seen the video. 😱 💯 right, this is a true classic. I put this in the same bracket, as Sildeaway, my fav ever track of all time, not even released as a single.

It may be a B side, but it was still their greatest ever tune. Noel Gallaghers masterpiece.

We feel it is occasionally important to sit back and remember how magnificent this song is. OASIS // The Masterplan (and it was a f**king B-side) #Oasis

A Liam Gallagher studio disappearance helped create one of Oasis’ greatest B-sides. When Liam briefly vanished during the recording, Noel sang the chorus himself, creating the famous contrast between the brothers’ voices. “Acquiesce” was released as the B-side to “Some Might Say” in 1995 and later appeared on The Masterplan. This performance on The White Room captured Oasis just as their rise from breakthrough band to national phenomenon was accelerating.

April 1995, Oasis recorded a performance of "It's Good To Be Free," for Channel 4's "The White Room." An underrated Classic - Oasis at their very best Liam Gallagher Oasis Paul Arthurs.

18 MARCH 1994 • OASIS made their first television appearance on Channel 4 TV show ‘The Word’. An appearance that totally blew people away. It was loud and full of attitude. Was this your introduction to Oasis? [OASIS • Supersonic] #Oasis #LiamGallagher #NoelGallagher

Despite becoming a favourite among Oasis fans, "Stay Young" never appeared on one of the band's studio albums. Originally released as the B-side to "D'You Know What I Mean?", its defiant optimism made it a natural fit for the enormous shows of the Be Here Now era. This performance at Manchester's G-Mex in 1997 captures Oasis turning a B-side into something that sounded every bit like an anthem.

During their Standing on the Shoulder of Giants era in 2000, Oasis appeared on Later… With Jools Holland to perform “Where Did It All Go Wrong.” Written and sung by Noel Gallagher, the track revealed a more reflective side of the band, trading anthemic confidence for weary introspection. With its soulful delivery and emotional weight, the performance captured Oasis looking inward, offering a rare moment of honesty from one of Britain’s most celebrated bands.

Oasis at Wembley Stadium was the greatest concert we’ve ever been to. Wembley Stadium was transformed into a time machine where everything seemed right with the world for a while. We wish we could bottle up this feeling. Beyond biblical. #OasisLive25

“Everyone was going ‘You’ve got to save that for the next album’, but the next album was like 2 years away at that point. I was like ‘I’m not sitting here for two years… believe me, people will pick up on it’.” Noel on ‘The Masterplan’.
