Bill Maher gets blindsided as MTG tells him that Obamacare has crushed the middle class. Maher couldn’t believe it. “Obamacare has crushed them? Obamacare is what’s hurt them?” he asked. Greene backed it up with how much she’s paying for health insurance since Obamacare began: “When Obamacare went into place, it took my own family of five’s health insurance policy from $800 a month to over $2,400 a month, more than our mortgage payment. Can someone please explain to me how short-term, temporary Obamacare subsidies passed during COVID suddenly became untouchable? Not a single Republican voted to extend these COVID subsidies in 2021 or 2022. We all recognized that Obamacare is a total disaster. Premiums have skyrocketed because of the ACA. But now we have four “moderate” Republicans who are siding with the Democrats to continue funding this miserable failure? If you want to show the public you’re serious about healthcare, stop wasting taxpayer money on Obamacare handouts to big insurance companies.
