Kosofe! What we witnessed was democracy in its truest form: the right to vote and be voted for. The voices of the people rang loud and clear, and once again, the strength of our great party was beautifully demonstrated. Today, as the official flag bearer of our great party for the upcoming election to represent Kosofe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, I extend my deepest appreciation and respect to my fellow aspirants: Hon. Kafilat Ogbara Kafilat Ogbara , Hon. Oluremi Odunsi Remi Odunsi , Pastor Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke and Mrs Aina Olayinka. You all campaigned with passion, dignity and commitment to our party. Together, we strengthened, promoted the APC and deepened the spirit of participation within our constituency. Well done to every one of us. Now, the primary election is over, and the bigger assignment begins. I sincerely implore all supporters, stakeholders and party faithful to come together in unity and solidarity. Banter aside, we have an election to win. We remain one family under the banner of our great party, the APC. What binds us together is far greater than anything that can divide us. I specially thank our father and leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership, guidance and unwavering dedication to the growth of our democracy and party. My sincere appreciation also goes to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu Babajide Sanwo-Olu and to all our respected party leaders across Lagos State, Nigeria and particularly in Kosofe. I deeply appreciate the support and leadership of Otunba Busura Alebiosu, Omoba Olumuyiwa Sosanya, Pa S. A. Oyedele and every single leader who stood firmly for the progress of our party and constituency. Thank you for your guidance and belief. A very special appreciation to my dependable ally, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada. Thank you for standing tall, for your loyalty, strength and support throughout this journey. And to the good people of Kosofe, thank you. You spoke with one voice and declared that it is Mayor Dele Oshinowo for the House of Representatives. I do not take this confidence and support for granted. By the special grace of God, we will work even harder, remain connected to the people, and together, we will bring victory home in the general election just as we did in the primary. This is not the victory of one person; it is the victory of unity, loyalty and hard work. Thank you, Kosofe. -Mayor Dele Oshinowo APC flagbearer, House Of Representatives, Kosofe Federal Constituency.

This is Osun, not Saraki Kwara State. When Governor Adeleke met with the “Federal might," it was a normal visitation, but when the APC governorship candidate, AMBO, met with the “Federal might," it was bragging—OKAY! The president of Nigeria is an APC member. He has the right to support any APC members vying for election in Nigeria. Under President Tinubu's administration, we witnessed a free, fair, and less violent election in Nigeria. Recall the 2022 election: an APC member, FPMBUHARI, was the president in 2022, yet you didn’t accuse the OSUN APC of “Federal Might” when we lost to ADELEKE. It’s now that you all are playing a pity game. The Osun election is about grassroots political workings and not social media politics. The margins in the Osun election are always closer between the APC and the PDP, regardless of the candidates both parties presented. The Osun election is always tied—this already refutes your “wide margin speculation.” These are the results of the last two elections in Osun State. Osun 2022 result. PDP—403,371 APC—375,073 Osun 2018 result APC—255, 505 PDP—255,023 The current political structures don’t favor Adeleke. The PDP structure has collapsed, the Accord structure is weak, the bigwigs who assisted the governor's emergence have left the party, no Aregbesola anti-party, there is no voting till 11pm in Ede again, there are no sympathy votes, etc. The current Osun election DATA doesn’t favor Governor Adeleke. No Chochocho. No emotional or media blackmail would work this time around. Please, Egbon, always tell the governor the truth! The only governor who had a wide margin was Aregbesola. Aregbesola achieved it via the defection of PDP bigwigs to the APC, despite being the Governor then. The likes of Oyinlola, Serubawon(Late. Isiaka Adeleke), and others. Aregbesola APC (394,684) and OMISORE PDP(292,747) As of today, Osun APC is adding up at the grassroots. We aren't relying on "Federal might." The President will support any APC members vying for an election—That’s sacrosanct! APC will win the Osun August 15th election and we’d vote massively for President Tinubu in 2027✊🏼. BOLA l’Osun. BOLA ni Federal.

President Trump isn't just fighting for election integrity, he is fighting to dismantle and eradicate a GLOBAL ELECTION FRAUD CARTEL, both here in the U.S. and abroad. But now, our South Korean allies need our help. Over the last few months I was informed of the exact scheme and operations that were happening in the U.S. were also happening to our South Korean allies, destroying their country through election fraud to install left-leaning communist regimes, targeting conservatives, Christians, and other religious groups. In America we experienced a stolen election and redemption with President Trump. But in South Korea, their president, President Yoon, was jailed and the election fraud was brushed under the carpet. The connection is the same techniques with election fraud, protests, and color revolutions, the exact same blueprint happening in America, but in South Korea, and many, MANY other countries, and USAID, with American taxpayer dollars was funding ALL of it. In America, we got lucky, and continue to fight for election integrity. South Korea's President Yoon was jailed for exposing the election fraud, and now pro-American and conservative Koreans are being targeted and silenced at extremely dangerous levels. They are trying to cover up the election fraud and are now trying to punish citizens with up to 10 years in prison, just for talking about election fraud, and even worse, they are now targeting and trying to shut down churches and other religious groups. South Korea is going through what we here in America would have gone through if President Trump was not elected. We can so close to losing the U.S., I really do not believe many understand the true gravity of the situation and how close we really were to becoming a completely communist country. The people of South Korea are NOT giving up and are fighting even harder, but they need America's help. Hwang Kyo-ahn, the leader of Korea’s new party, the Party of Freedom and Innovation, served as Prime Minister, Acting President, and party leader. He established the Election Fraud Prevention Task Force and is fighting fiercely against the forces behind election fraud in South Korea. He is being targeted along with many others and persecuted by the NEC (National Election Commission) for exposing the fraud and telling the truth. You must understand that this is all connected and the U.S. is involved as well. South Korea is on the verge of becoming a communist state. The People Power Party, (PPP) is the main opposition party, and simply cannot defeat the Lee Jae-myung administration. Therefore, to save the nation, and to promote freedom and innovation—to revive the country and open a new path—I founded this party. The new party, Freedom and Innovation, seeks to strengthen the ROK-U.S. alliance. We will fight to the end until we eradicate election fraud and eliminate anti-state forces! The political establishment has become pro-China because it was seized by pro-China factions through election fraud. This is a global system, a regime change operation happening in multiple countries to install communist regimes, and South Korea is one of them. South Korea needs are help and support to eliminate this global election fraud cartel destroying our world. First, the adoption of a resolution calling for the immediate release of President Yoon Suk-yeol. They need a resolution at the U.S. Congressional level urging the immediate release of President Yoon Suk-yeol, who has been detained on impeachment charges due to the schemes of anti-state forces and the CCP. Second, immediate intervention regarding the hacking of the cyber election system. This is a MASSIVE problem in the U.S. as well and needs to be addressed and fix or elections will NEVER be safe. Pursuant to the ROK-U.S. Mutual Defense Treaty, we regard the CCP’s interference in South Korea’s elections as a direct attack on the ROK-U.S. Alliance and request immediate intervention from the Trump administration. The third request from the Trump administration is direct sanctions against those involved in election fraud are necessary. They need the Trump administration impose direct sanctions, such as strong asset freezes, against those involved in the Supreme Court and the National Election Commission implicated in South Korea’s election fraud, similar to the cases in Venezuela and Brazil. Fourth, a joint U.S.-South Korea investigation. We request that the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives form a joint U.S.-South Korea investigation team to address the election fraud that occurred in both South Korea and the United States, and adopt a joint resolution of both chambers to conduct an immediate investigation. Fifth, the defense of the U.S.-South Korea alliance. We pledge to devote all our efforts to upholding the values of liberal democracy against the CCP’s sharp power we pledge to devote all our efforts to restoring electoral justice in both South Korea and the United States. The Republic of Korea is a nation founded through the prayers of President Syngman Rhee, the nation’s founding father. The people of South Korea are ready to stand with the United States, our blood ally to take down this global election fraud cartel and free the people from this communist regime takeover and eliminate all their future endeavors against humanity. Donald J. Trump our South Korean allies need our help. Together, along with many others, we can dismantle this global election fraud cartel and save South Korean conservatives and religious groups from a communist takeover and persecution just for having different peaceful beliefs. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Godspeed.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) today released its 192-page autopsy of the 2024 election. It blames the Biden White House for failing to defend Harris for over three and a half years. It says the White House never moved to “contradict or correct” the “border czar” label that defined Harris in voters’ minds. The report calls Trump’s “Kamala is for they/them” ad effective and unanswerable, given that she never repudiated trans surgeries for prison inmates. The autopsy reminds readers that in 1989, DNC Chairman Ron Brown reclaimed what it calls “the vital center of American discourse” after three straight presidential losses. It notes that Bill Clinton and Barack Obama then led the party to win the popular vote in seven of the next eight presidential elections. The report suggests Democrats need to recover that center. But the autopsy does not explain what pulled the party away from it, nor where the party went, which was the topic of a recent conversation I had with The Free Press’Coleman Hughes (below). The answer the autopsy dared not say is that “progressive” (radical) Left turned it against the core structures of Western civilization and took over the Party. Starting around 2010, meritocracy increasingly gave way to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) mandates, which the Biden White House imposed across the federal government in 2021. Law and order gave way to defund-the-police rhetoric and progressive prosecutors. Cheap energy gave way to a climate agenda that was on track to cost trillions in taxes and higher energy prices. National borders gave way to an unenforced southern frontier. And personal agency gave way to victimhood ideology, which casts citizens as products of oppressive systems rather than authors of their own lives.... Out campaigning again today for our fantastic Restore Britain candidate, Jez Hermer MBE — and we had a brilliant response from the local residents we spoke to! 🇬🇧 I’ve fought many elections and worked alongside many candidates over the years, and I can genuinely say that Jez is one of the strongest local candidates I’ve ever had the pleasure of campaigning with. This is his home. Jez has lived in the area all his life, knows these villages and their communities, and already serves local people as a parish councillor. A former Royal Marines Major, awarded an MBE following more than 20 years of service, a local businessman and someone who has dedicated much of his life to public service — Jez has the experience, commitment and determination to be an outstanding councillor for this community. In our video, Jez introduces himself and explains in his own words why he is standing, what this area means to him and the priorities he will fight for if elected. This is also a hugely important moment for Restore Britain. This is our first ever council by-election, and we couldn’t have asked for a stronger candidate to represent us. If you live in Guston, Kingsdown or St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe, please get behind Jez and vote for him on Thursday 27 August. And we need your help! If you can spare even a few hours between now and polling day, please come and join us campaigning. Every leaflet delivered, every door knocked and every conversation matters. We have a fantastic candidate, we are getting a fantastic response on the doorstep — now let’s turn that support into votes and make our first council by-election our FIRST WIN! 🇬🇧 VOTE JEZ HERMER MBE — RESTORE BRITAIN — 27 AUGUST Rupert Lowe MP Henry Bolton OBE 🇬🇧 TB #RestoreBritain #JezHermer #Dover #Kingsdown #StMargaretsAtCliffe Promoted by Tracy Bailitis on behalf of Jez Hermer and Restore Britain, both of Suite 4 Millennium House, Gapton Hall Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR31 0NL.

A very pleasant gentleman from the Conservative Party called me today. He politely reminded me that I hadn’t renewed my membership for several years and asked if I might consider doing so. I explained, equally politely, exactly why I would not be returning. I had high hopes for Boris Johnson, but those hopes were sadly dashed by a series of serious failings. Then came Rishi Sunak, who often appeared more aligned with globalist institutions like the WEF than with putting Britain and its people first. In the end, through a combination of arrogance and detachment from the everyday concerns of ordinary Britons, the Conservatives effectively handed victory to Labour. Labour did not win because the country fell in love with Keir Starmer’s vision. They won because millions of people voted against the Tories in protest or simply stayed at home. The Conservatives gifted them the election. But the political landscape is now shifting. New parties are emerging that are willing to put forward a clear, unapologetic manifesto that puts this country and its people above all else. For me, that party is Advance. For others, it may be Reform or Restore Britain. Whatever our differences, I truly believe we are all on the same side of the argument. We ultimately want the same thing - a strong, sovereign Britain that once again can protect its own borders, rebuild an invincible military capable of standing alone or proudly alongside our true allies, and reinvest in British shipbuilding, energy, and oil to secure our future prosperity and independence. I will support whichever patriotic party looks strongest and best placed to defeat this current government at the next General Election. My vote will go to the one most likely to remove Labour from power and restore Britain. We must unite and stop fighting among ourselves. If we don’t, the real punishment will be more years of radical left-wing policies or worse, the Greens! 🤦🏻‍♀️🇬🇧 To those already writing off Advance, I would simply say this - we have three years. Despite the slurs, the mockery, and the inevitable establishment pushback, we will keep growing, keep building, and keep making our voice heard. 🇬🇧 Watch this space. By the time the next General Election arrives, things will look very different. #UniteTheRight #BritainFirst 🇬🇧

🚩Must read, Seriously. This morning, Luxon AGAIN attacked NZ First. Why is he attacking his coalition partner who is crucial for National and not TOP? … and why has he not ruled them out? Read this and watch this 5 minute clip below. This is the real danger Luxon is exposing us to. This is a disaster. TOP SLOP is NZ’s “Teal wave” moment. Australia in 2022 saw independent “Teal” candidates (marketed as ‘moderate’- climate-focused centrist-independents) win six safe Liberal seats. Voters who were sick of both big parties have them ‘a go’, thinking they would work with both sides. The Teals were actually clueless, hard left marxist morons, dressed up as metropolitan mums. Once elected they voted for every woke wankery rubbish they could, and were punished in 2025 accordingly. The important part for you to understand is this, the Australian Election Study (AES), a post-election survey found the 2022 Teal voters, had voted for the blow parties in the previous election: • ~ 31% voted Labor • ~ 24% voted Greens • ~🚩18% voted Coalition (centre right) • The rest voted for other parties or were new voters. (Note our Nov election is expected to have 130,000 new voters come of age since the 2023 election) The name teal comes from metaphorical mixing of the colour blue (centre right) and Green (climate and ‘moderate left’) National has a ‘blue greens’ arm, it’s the progressive Paris Agreement worshiping branch of the garbage Nats. It’s a group that Luxon leads. On Friday Maurice Williamson (Nationals long time internal numbers man) told Plunket that using his software, he has tried every calculation variation based on TOP getting above 5%, and everytime it comes back with - The centre right coalition is gone. National knows this, Luxon knows this, they do internal polling and that would tell them as well, that SLOP is above 5% already. Momentum in politics can hard to stop. So why won’t he rule them out ? Williamson and Alistair Boyce tell Plunket that “Luxon needs to rule these communist clowns out and fast”. Why hasn’t he ? …. Because he WANTS to do a deal with TOP. He would happily ditch NZ First, no more attacks on the India FTA, Genetech bill, and no threat of leaving the Paris Agreement. For his next international role he needs to protect his progressive credentials. In the clip below, Luxon (with ZB in 2024) shows us exactly who he is - he actually says the most alarming things : - I’m the leader of the National blue greens like Angela Merkel did - I would like a relationship with the greens - I am totally committed to Net zero - I’m really interested in a teal movement - James Shaw is a really close friend of mine - We need to vaccinate cows to stop methane. - He also says he’s really close to Progressive party founder and Ardern’s Greens Ambassador Rob Fenwick - who blew $115m of our money in the aptly named and now sunk ZeroSolar company with Blackrock. Its scary, but Luxon ain’t going to rule out TOP, he thinks he can cobble together a coalition with them - completely futile but he thinks he can do it, and he’s going to continue to foolishly attack Winston Peters and NZ First. Luxon is a total bloody disaster and will wreck this country unless he’s reigned in by a bigger NZF block. God help us. He’s chucking the election.

🚨 BREAKING — TEXAS 02/24/26 Video Williamson Co. Republicans showed up at Commissioners Court today to demand answers about an unauthorized joint primary election — with commingled R and D ballots in the same boxes, combined voter check-in, unauthorized ballot marking devices, wrong ballots, and concerns about ballot chain of custody as cameras go dark and clocks skip ahead. EA Bridgette Escobedo is exercising powers the law reserves for a joint primary agreement that there is no evidence the Commissioners Court ever authorized. WilCo Republicans packed Commissioners Court demanding answers about a primary election that doesn't match the law, the contract, or this court's own records. Republican and Democratic voter registration and ballot boxes are COMMINGLED — with Democrats running the Republican primary. There is no evidence the Commissioners Court voted to authorize a joint primary under §172.126(a). Their own minutes from the only primary-related agenda item state: "No action was taken on this item." Yet every operational element of this election matches a joint primary. What WilCo Republican voters are experiencing right now: 🔴 Commingled R and D database, equipment, and ballot boxes 🔴 Combined voter check-in — one system, both parties 🔴 Ballot marking devices the CEC and CC never adopted or approved as required by §123.001(b)(2) 🔴 A "Federal" ballot showing only 2 races instead of the full Republican primary 🔴 Democratic co-clerks steering Republicans to electronic marking devices 🔴 Concerns about ballot chain of custody camera coverage and manipulation Republican voters were steered toward an unauthorized "Federal" ballot programmed onto the machines — giving them only 2 races instead of the full primary ballot. Down-ballot Republican candidates never appeared on these ballots. The SOS Director of Elections has reportedly acknowledged this ballot was not supposed to be accessible to in-person voters. How many voters were affected? The commissioners unanimously approved spending over $1 MILLION to move to hand-marked paper ballots. Instead, dozens of ExpressVote barcode machines were deployed at nearly every early voting location and — according to our County Chair — workers were instructed to offer and encourage electronic voting. The only known contract is a §31.093 separate primary — which says in its own text that the EA "may not prevent" the county chair from supervising the election. But the EA selected the voting system, programmed the ballot format, chose the locations, conducted all training, and established all procedures — powers that under the Election Code belong only to the county clerk (or EA if County has one) in a §172.126 joint primary. Then EA ignored the County Chair when she called foul. Why does the framework matter? Under a separate primary agreement, the Republican Party independently oversees its own election. Under a joint primary agreement, the county EA and Commissioners take control of everything. When ballots are commingled, check-in is combined, and workers are shared — the party loses all ability to protect the security and purity of our election nor can independently verify its own primary results. Today I called on the Commissioners Court to: ✅ Convene a special session on the primary framework If we got more than 2:50 seconds, ask to: Direct the EA to identify her specific statutory authority — on the record ✅ Separate the scanners, ballot boxes, voter lists, and check-in immediately ✅ Remove the unauthorized BMDs and unauthorized ballot format ✅ Refer the matter for investigation Once R and D ballots are commingled without authorization, the security and purity of the ballot box is destroyed — and it cannot be restored. Neither party can independently verify its own ballots are legal. That's not a procedural issue. That's a constitutional violation under Article VI, §4 of the Texas Constitution. We're asking questions that deserve answers. 🇺🇸

#ZimElection2023 ZAMBIA-LED SADC ELECTION OBSERVATION MISSION OUT OF ORDER AS IT, AU AND COMMONWEALTH COUNTERPARTS RELEASE PRELIMINARY REPORTS ON ZIM ELECTION It is a good thing that three major international election observer missions have submitted their preliminary reports: The Commonwealth Election Observation Mission, the African Union (AU) Observation Mission and the Sadc Election Observation mission. The links to the three reports are indicated below: The Commonwealth Zim Election Observation Mission Report AU Zim Election Observation Mission Report Sadc Election Observation Preliminary Report Notably, and significantly so, the three preliminary reports echo an important sentiment expressed by CITE's Zenzele Ndebele (Zenzele) a few weeks ago on Newzroom Afrika – for which he was vilified and demonised by the usual quarters among self-proclaimed champions of democracy – that Zimbabwe’s 2023 harmonised general election “has been largely peaceful”, compared to previous editions characterised by widespread violence. A peaceful harmonised general election in Zimbabwe is no mean achievement. It is big ns, and a huge social and political relief. And to say the election has been largely peaceful is not to say there have been no skirmishes or worse, any loss of life even if it was of one person, as Ndebele pointed out to Newzroom Afrika on the attached video clip. Meanwhile, there are no matters arising from the preliminary reports by the Commonwealth and the AU election observers, pending the release of their final reports in two or so months. Otherwise, election observation mission reports are precisely that, namely, reports on what the relevant missions actually observed on the conduct of an election in question. But not so for the Sadc Election Mission Preliminary Statement on Zimbabwe’s 2023 harmonised general election. Led by former Zambian Vice President Nevers Mumba, appointed by Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema, who recently assumed the chairmanship of the Sadc Organ on Politics, Defence and Security. Unlike its African Union and Commonwealth counterparts, the Mumba Mission clearly, intentionally and scandalously wrote its report on the basis of what it heard, and not what it observed. Rather than making news about the election it ostensibly observed, the news is on the Sadc Election Observation for coming to Zimbabwe with an axe to grind, wielding it recklessly and shamelessly. It would be irresponsible to let the preliminary report of the Sadc Election Observation Mission go scot-free, unchallenged. The Mumba report is premised on this far reaching conclusion, which it is not competent to make: The Mission noted that some aspects of the Harmonised Elections, fell short of the requirements of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Electoral Act, and the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections. Writing under the rubric, “Constitutional and Legal Framework for the Elections,” Mumba and his colleagues make sweeping and opinionated statements and conclusions that are all based not on the direct observation of the election by the Mission but on hearsay with not a single thread of even desktop evidence. The sweeping statements and conclusions include an array of gratuitous comments based on hearsay about the voters roll; freedom of assembly in general and the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act (MOPA); freedom of expression in relation to the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act; the nomination of candidates; participation of women as candidates; alleged intimidation of voters; postal voting controversy; and coverage of the election by the state media. In the result, the main thrust of the report is pure and naked hearsay. In this connection, the report’s treatment of two key issues is telling: one is the delimitation of constituencies and the other is on the so-called Patriotic Act. Regarding the so-called Patriotic Act, the report makes the following conclusion based on untested hearsay submissions: The Mission noted that the Patriot Act is incompatible with the spirit of section 61(1) of the Constitution, and paragraph 4.1.2 of the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections which requires Member States to uphold, amongst others, the freedom of expression. This is utterly shocking. What jurisdiction, power and legal competence do Nevers Mumba and his colleagues in the Sadc Election Observation Mission on the Zimbabwean 2023 harmonised general election have to make such a judicial pronouncement? The pronouncement is manifest and gross interference with the rule of law in Zimbabwe under which such judicial findings are made by competent courts of law and, even worse, the pronouncement is an unacceptable violation of Zimbabwe’s sovereignty. Then there’s the report’s treatment of the delimitation of constituencies, about which it says: “The mission WAS INFORMED that the delimitation exercise that was conducted in 2022 by the ZEC was marred with controversy”. Without saying who informed it, the Sadc Observation Mission preliminary report makes the following scandalous statements and partisan conclusions on Zimbabwe’s delimitation exercise conducted by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission in 202, which it is not entitled to make – as it lacks the jurisdiction, authority and competence to do so – and which statements and conclusions demonstrate beyond reasonable doubt that its preliminary report is heavily opinionated hearsay that smacks of a malicious and predetermined hatchet job: "(i) In its Delimitation Report of 2022, the ZEC rightly states that, “the Constitution recognisesthe impracticability of having equal number of voters in each constituency by allowing the Commission to depart from this requirement within a stipulated margin. In this case the Constitution in section 161(6) stipulates that …“no constituency may have more than 20% more or fewer registered voters than other such constituencies”. The constitution in section 161(6)a-f also lists factors that need to be considered when delimiting since they are important during the exercise.” However, the ZEC goes on to also state that, “Based on the provision of section 161(6) the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission then calculated the 20% deviation from the national average voter registration expected in each constituency which was 27 640. This yielded a deviation of 5,528 voters. Since the average number of registered voters was regarded as a stable benchmark against which delimitation of constituencies was conducted, the deviation figure was added to the national average to determine the maximum number of registered voters that a constituency delimited would contain i.e., 33 168.” (ii) The Mission noted that the use of the average number voters per constituency is not consistent with the provision of section 161(6) of the newConstitution that was adopted in 2013. The word “average” appears in section 61A(6) of the old Constitution of Zimbabwe under which it was permissible to calculate the minimum and maximum permissible number of voter per constituency by using the national average as the baseline. That word “average” does not exist in section 161(6) of the new Constitution which deals with the same subject matter. The difference between section 61A(6) and section 161(6) of the old and the new constitutions respectively is far from being merely technical. (iii) In the new Constitution, and in the context of section 161(6), the maximum deviation is 20% of the voters registered in the constituencies. The new Constitution uses actual constituency by constituency registered voter population, not the national average number of constituency voter population to calculate the permissible deviation from the requirement that constituencies must have an equal number of voters. Mathematically, the two methods produce very different results and affect the equality of the vote with respect to the elections to parliament. On the other hand, since the country votes as a single constituency in the presidential election, the difference in the methods has no particular impact on the equality of the vote in that election. It was therefore not unexpected that ZEC would receive substantial criticism on this aspect of its latest Delimitation Report. (iv) The Mission noted that the use of the average number of voters per constituency is not consistent with the provision of section 161(6) of the new Constitution that was adopted in 2013. (v) In the new Constitution, and in the context of section 161(6), the maximum deviation is 20% of the voters registered in the constituencies. The new Constitution uses actual constituency by constituency registered voter population, not the national average number of constituency voter population to calculate the permissible deviation from the requirement that constituencies must have an equal number of voters. It was therefore not unexpected that ZEC would receive substantial criticism on this aspect of its latest Delimitation Report." There are three things to highlight about what Mumba and his team say regarding the delimitation of constituencies. Firstly, everything they say is very familiar to Zimbabweans because the delimitation issue was widely, hotly and robustly debated. More specifically, the words used in the Mumba narrative about the delimitation report are familiar words that were used during the debate. It is disappointing that the familiar words have found their way, verbatim, into the Sadc Election Observation preliminary report. This alone is sad, and the less said about it, the better for everyone concerned. Secondly, ZEC’s delimitation exercise was challenged at the High Court of Zimbabwe and in the country’s apex court, the Constitutional Court. The views that the Sadc Election Observation Mission regurgitates as its own, when in fact they’re not, were argued in Zimbabwe’s courts, but no pronouncement or finding of the kind that the Mumba team goes to town about was made by any court of the land. What makes this even more egregious is the following statement in the Sadc Election Observer Mission’s report: In view of their significance in the event of legal challenges in the context of the electoral process, some stakeholders expressed the view that the judiciary is compromised by the Government. A key justification for this perception was information received from these stakeholders that the judiciary recently received large financial and material incentives which the stakeholders viewed as an attempt by the Government to buy the loyalty and allegiance of the judiciary. So, the Sadc Election Observation Mission on the 2023 harmonised general election in Zimbabwe “received information from…stakeholders that the judiciary recently received large financial and material incentives which the stakeholders viewed as an attempt by the Government to buy the loyalty and allegiance of the judiciary”. Why is the Sadc Election Observation Mission disrespecting Zimbabwe’s judiciary in this manner? The is outrageous, and for it to find expression in this report is shameless and unacceptable. In the interest of fairness, the Sadc Mission must be required by Sadc to share this information with everyone, particularly the Government of Zimbabwe which represents the Zimbabwean State, a member of Sadc. As already pointed out, the Sadc Observer Mission has no jurisdiction or competence to make any judicial pronouncements on Zimbabwean elections, not least because it is not a judicial inquiry; it is just and only an observation mission. This needs to be rectified by the Mission in its final report. That’s why it has been both important and necessary to engage the preliminary report at this stage. Thirdly, and last but not least, it is important to recall the Mission’s conclusion that is making news everywhere in order to show that it is politically opportunistic, and arguably is self-evident malice aforethought. The Sadc Election Observation Mission’s preliminary report has this running thread that ties everything in the report together, and which is effectively the essence of the report’s conclusion: The Mission noted that some aspects of the Harmonised Elections, fell short of the requirements of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Electoral Act, and the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections. Is this conclusion in any way linked to or an outcome of the observations that the preliminary report lists as the observations that were actually made by the Sadc Mission? The best way to unpack the question is by looking at the full list of the observations that the Mission says it made, and they are the following: "3. OBSERVATIONS ON ELECTION DAYS (23-24 AUGUST 2023) On the Election Days, the SADC Electoral Observation Mission observed the voting process in 10 Provinces of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The deployed observer teams covered 172 polling stations in their respective areas. The political contestants have continued to call for peace during this election period and after. The SEOM observed the following critical aspects at the 172 polling stations that we visited: (a) The environment at the polling stations was relatively calm and peaceful. (b) A number of voters expressed concern due to a lack of, or late arrival of ballot papers and poor administration at some polling stations. However, voters remained patient to exercise their constitutional right to vote. (c) Professional and attentive police presence enhanced the overall peace and secure environment in all the polling stations observed. (d) 64% of the voting stations observed opened on time, 36% did not open on time for the 07:00am stipulated opening time. Some polling stations opened more than 12 hours after the stipulated time. The reason provided by ZEC for this unprecedented development was the unavailability of ballot papers, particularly for the local authority elections, and also due to previous litigation. This challenge was, however specific to Harare and Bulawayo Provinces. Due to the delays, some voters left without casting their votes, while others opted to remain in the lengthy queues throughout the day and night. By 06:00am on 24 August 2023, some voters in these two provinces had still not voted. Consequently, these delays also had a knock-on effect as they dissuaded voters from voting in the first place. Against this observation we further note as follows: i. Section 52(1) of the Electoral Act provides that for any election, the ZEC shall ensure that every constituency elections officer is provided with polling booths or voting compartments and ballot boxes, and shall provide papers, including ballot papers. ii. Prior to election day, ZEC had assured our Mission and other stakeholders, that all necessary voting materials, including ballot papers, were available and ready for use before election day. This communication was made in the context of section 52A(2) of the Electoral Act which requires ZEC to provide information on the number of ballot papers and publication of details regarding them. On the basis of these two considerations, the subsequent information from ZEC that they did not have adequate ballot papers has the unfortunate effect of creating doubts about the credibility of this electoral process. (e) The voters roll was unavailable at 1% of the polling stations observed, and was therefore not displayed outside the polling stations for the convenience of the voters and verification by party/candidates agents. (f) During the voting period, and at 26% of the polling stations observed, not all voters who turned out could vote. The reasons advanced for this included: i. Voters were identified, but the names were not found on the voters’ roll; ii. It was not possible to establish the voter’s identity; iii. Voters were at the wrong polling station; and iv. Voters did not have a national identity card or passport, or due to the absence of an official witness confirming an elector’s identity. (g) 8% of the polling stations observed were not accessible to voters living with disabilities. (h) At 50% of the polling stations, voters living with disabilities, the elderly, and pregnant women were not given priority to vote. (i) In 3% of polling stations observed, indelible ink was not checked on the voters before allowing them to cast their vote. (j) At 97% of the polling stations observed, voting was free from irregularities. (k) Voting proceeded in an orderly manner at 95% of the polling stations observed. (l) Ballot boxes did not remain locked and/or sealed at 2% of the polling stations. (m) As a result of the excessive delays in the opening of polling stations in Harare and Bulawayo provinces, at least 36% of the voting stations observed did not close at the scheduled closing time of 1900hrs, while some had not even opened by that time. It was announced that voting would be extended to proceed into 24 August 2023 to compensate for the late opening. (n) In previous stakeholder consultations, a shadowy organisation referred to as Forever Associates Zimbabwe was accused of conducting a country-wide exercise of electoral intimidation. Our observers confirmed the existence of this group as its officials or agents were easily identifiable at some polling stations as they were dressed in regalia emblazoned with the FAZ name and were accredited local observers. These, and other unidentified persons who were not polling officials were also observed taking down the names of voters before they cast their votes. In some areas, voters were intimidated by actions of these individuals. (o) The Mission observed the closing and vote counting processes. A proper analysis of these two processes shall be provided as part of the final SEOM Report." CONCLUSION Three points to conclude: Firstly, it is notable that the actual observations made by the Sadc Election Observation Mission are given as a skeletal laundry list with little if any analysis. Yet the observations are at the core of how the actual polling or election was conducted on polling day. Secondly, there’s no connection between the preliminary report’s running theme that “the Mission noted that some aspects of the Harmonised Elections, fell short of the requirements of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Electoral Act, and the SADC Principles and Guidelines Governing Democratic Elections”. Surely, to sustain the theme, it has to be connected with the actual observations made by the Mission. But the preliminary report makes no connection, not least because the connection is contrived, based on hearsay and therefore has no factual foundation. Thirdly, one of the observations that proves malice in the preliminary report is the following [number “m” on the laundry list of observations]: As a result of the excessive delays in the opening of polling stations in Harare and Bulawayo provinces, at least 36% of the voting stations observed did not close at the scheduled closing time of 1900hrs, while some had not even opened by that time. It was announced that voting would be extended to proceed into 24 August 2023 to compensate for the late opening. It is an unfortunate falsehood that there is any polling station that had not opened by 1900hrs on polling day, 23 August 2023. It’s a shame that such a falsehood found itself in a report of this stature and implication. Otherwise, if the report was based on good faith, the name and location of polling stations that had not opened by 1900hrs on polling day should have been specified for purposes of verification and rectification. Fourthly, right upfront the preliminary report says: The Mission was informed that a further proclamation was issued rendering 24 August 2023 as a polling day in view of the delays experienced at certain polling stations. Furthermore, President Mnangagwa also proclaimed 2 October 2023 for the run-off election to the office of president if such a poll becomes necessary. Two points about this. One is that the mind boggles at why the Mission had to be “informed” about this, and why the Mission did not get a copy of the proclamation for itself. Was this out of laziness or what? The other point is why does the preliminary report fail to see and understand that “the further proclamation” was the specific solution to the litany of what the Mission lists in its preliminary report as its observations regarding the delayed opening of polling stations on polling day and the shortage of ballot papers and related issues? An impression, a false one at that, is created to the effect that the litany of observations of problems that beset polling stations that opened late or opened without some or all ballot papers for the three elections were left unattended to. If truth be told, the Sadc Election Observation Mission’s preliminary report leaves a distinct and disturbing impression that the Mission had a sinister and a not so hidden mission against the people of Zimbabwe and the Republic of Zimbabwe, abi nitio. That’s unfortunate because the impression is palpable!

Trump scores legal win, getting lawsuit against Iowa pollster, Des Moines Register moved to state court | Brian Flood, Fox News Trump’s legal team alleges 'election interference' after late-stage poll showed Kamala Harris ahead in Iowa President Donald Trump notched a legal victory Friday in his lawsuit against Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer and The Des Moines Register, and the case will now land in Iowa State Court after an appeals court sided with the president and ruled a lower court had overstepped. Trump’s legal team, which has accused the defendants of "brazen election interference" with their final 2024 Iowa presidential poll that showed him trailing Democrat Kamala Harris, originally requested the case be moved to Iowa State Court in May after the defendants "removed" the case to federal court. A federal judge denied the request at the time, but the Obama-appointed judge was overruled by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit. In a sharply worded opinion, the 8th Circuit granted Trump’s petition for a writ of mandamus — a rare judicial order used to correct clear legal errors — and directed a district judge to treat the case as dismissed "without prejudice," allowing Trump to refile the case. "Today’s just and appropriate ruling by the 8th Circuit ensures that President Trump’s powerhouse case focused on the fake election interfering polls conducted and denominated by J. Ann Selzer, The Des Moines Register and its corporate owner Gannett will be litigated in Iowa State Court where it belongs," a spokesman for Trump’s legal team told Fox News Digital. "These defendants have repeatedly engaged in unlawful gamesmanship to avoid State Court, and that ends today," the spokesman continued. "President Trump will continue to hold those who traffic in fake news, lies and smears to account." Bob Corn-Revere, chief counsel for the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), who represents Selzer, issued a statement. "The 8th Circuit ruling was focused entirely on a technical point of civil procedure and said nothing about the merits of the case. This case is every bit as frivolous today as it was yesterday, and that fact will be borne out in whatever forum it is finally resolved," Corn-Revere told Fox News Digital. Lark-Marie Antón, a spokesperson for The Des Moines Register's parent company, Gannett, believes the case belongs in federal court. "We are assessing the court’s decision. Given the nature of the case and that it involves the president of the United States as a plaintiff, we continue to believe the federal courts are the most appropriate forum for this lawsuit. In the event the suit is heard by the state courts of Iowa, we have confidence the matter will be adjudicated fairly," Antón told Fox News Digital. The lawsuit was originally filed in December in Polk County, Iowa, and sought what it calls "accountability for brazen election interference committed by" The Des Moines Register and Selzer "in favor of now-defeated former Democrat candidate Kamala Harris through use of a leaked and manipulated Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll" published Nov. 2, 2024. "The Harris Poll was no ‘miss’ but rather an attempt to influence the outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election," the lawsuit stated at the time, adding that "defendants and their cohorts in the Democrat Party hoped that the Harris Poll would create a false narrative of inevitability for Harris in the final week of the 2024 Presidential Election." Selzer released her final Des Moines Register-sponsored poll showing Harris leading Trump by three points in Iowa just three days before the election. That shock poll showed a seven-point shift from Trump to Harris from September, when he had a four-point lead over the vice president in the same poll. Selzer’s poll was hyped up by the media in the days leading up to the election as her polling predictions had been historically accurate. Many suggested it implied a monumental shift in Midwest support for Harris in a red state, but the poll turned out to be way off. Trump thumped Harris in Iowa by more than 13 percentage points, the third straight time he'd won the state and the first time any candidate had won there by double digits since 1980. Shortly after the election, Selzer announced she was done with election polling and moving on to "other ventures."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Scott Pio, Chairman of the Republican Party of Loudoun, Calls for Immediate Resignation of RPV Leadership Following Devastating 2025 Election Losses Leesburg, VA – November 10, 2025 – In the wake of the Republican Party's crushing defeats in Virginia's 2025 statewide elections, Scott Pio, Chairman of the Republican Party of Loudoun, today issued a urgent call for the immediate resignation of Mark Peake, Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV), the executive leadership, and every member of the State Central Committee who has worked as a consultant or company in the last 5 years for any candidate or PAC in Virginia. This demand comes as Democrats swept the governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general races, marking a complete takeover of statewide executive offices and signaling a profound failure of RPV leadership. "The results of Tuesday's election are not just disappointing—they are a damning indictment of the RPV's entrenched leadership," said Scott Pio. "For too long, the RPV has operated as a dysfunctional entity, prioritizing personal gain and complacency over growth, strategy, and victory. The fault for these losses lies squarely at the feet of the current RPV Chairman, executive leadership, and State Central Committee members who have allowed the party to atrophy while Democrats built a formidable machine. If they had any sense of accountability, they would step down immediately to allow fresh, competent leadership to rebuild our party from the ground up." Scott Pio outlined the following reasons for the demanded resignations, each highlighting systemic failures under the current RPV leadership: • Current Vote Counts in Statewide Races: Due to the abysmal performance in the 2025 elections, where Democrat Abigail Spanberger defeated Republican Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor with approximately 57% to 42% of the vote; Democrat Ghazala Hashmi defeated Republican John Reid for Lieutenant Governor with roughly 55% to 44%; and Democrat Jay Jones defeated Republican Jason Miyares for Attorney General with about 52% to 46%. These lopsided results, with Republicans failing to break 50% in any statewide contest, reflect a complete strategic collapse and an inability to mobilize voters, directly attributable to the RPV's poor planning and execution. With the numbers as you see them below, Winsome would have had to perform at Donald Trump levels to defeat Abigail. Winsome would never have the chance to win unless the Republican Party is working to convert voters and grow the party. Glenn Youngkin would have lost against Abigail having it been a re-election. Republicans are outnumbered in Virginia. We MUST start converting and growing the party to overcome these odds, less we suffer the same fate as Oregon, Washington, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Winsome Sears – 1,434,133 Abigail Spanberger – 1,921,045 Donald Trump – 2,075,085 Kamala Harris – 2,335,395 Glenn Youngkin – 1,663,158 Terry McAuliffe – 1,599,470 • Loss of Confidence from Grassroots Leadership: Grassroots Republicans across Virginia have lost all faith in the RPV due to repeated betrayals and neglect. Local party chairs, volunteers, and activists feel abandoned, as the state leadership has prioritized insider dealings over empowering the base, leading to widespread disillusionment and low turnout that sealed our electoral fate. • Loss of Strategic Vision and Failure to Learn from 2017: The RPV has shown no ability to adapt since 2017, when Republicans squandered a supermajority in the House of Delegates, narrowly holding onto control before hemorrhaging nearly 30 seats over the ensuing decade. This pattern of complacency—ignoring shifting demographics, urban-suburban trends, and voter priorities—has turned Virginia from a battleground into a Democratic stronghold under the current leadership. Virginia will continue to be blue until we stop ignoring the shifting immigrant demographics. The idea that the RPV doesn’t have Instagram, YouTube or TikTok should show everyone that they seriously lack vision to persuade voters. If the RPV doesn’t start investing in converting voters, we will never be a Republican state again. • Mindset Against Party Growth: Rather than actively expanding the Republican tent through outreach and recruitment, RPV leaders have adopted a defeatist attitude, assuming existing voters would suffice without investment in new coalitions in the largest Indian, Arab and Latino minority communities. This shortsighted "wait and see" approach has allowed Democrats to outpace us in voter registration, permanent absentee registration and engagement, directly contributing to our statewide wipeout. If the statewide party continues to ignore the Arab, Indian and Latino voters, then it will forever lose Virginia. There is NO turning back if we shut those voters out of our American Freedom Party. • Ignoring Internal Polling Warnings: Internal statewide polling undoubtedly revealed the dire state of our campaigns months ago, yet leadership failed to pivot, allocate resources differently, or address vulnerabilities. This willful blindness to data and refusal to course-correct exemplifies a leadership team more interested in using old, tired techniques rather than winning. Their ineffective strategies of holding rally after rally in half empty halls while 1 mile away from polling precincts MUST come to an end. They should be kissing babies and shaking hands rather than standing on a stage. • Leaving Uncontested Seats: In a shocking display of negligence, the RPV left 15 seats uncontested in the 2025 House of Delegates elections and 20 in 2023, handing Democrats free wins and demoralizing potential candidates. This failure to field slates in all districts underscores a profound lack of recruitment effort and organizational incompetence. Enhanced data and technologies make this task rather easy while the voters suffer. Each House of Delegate seat represents nearly 60,000 voters. Ignoring 900,000 voters in 2025 and 1,200,000 voters in 2023 could be the difference between a statewide victory or statewide defeat. • Lack of Training and Resources for Candidates and Committees: RPV leadership has provided minimal training, funding, or logistical support to candidates and committees, leaving them to fend for themselves against well-resourced Democratic opponents. Without workshops on messaging, fundraising, or voter outreach, our nominees were set up for failure from the start. The consistent neglect of these foundational basic things, there is no wonder why seats go unfilled across the state. With the incredible lack of support for our candidates and committees, you must ask yourself if candidates or committees could even be effective? • Consultant-Plagued State Central Committee: With consultants making millions off our donors, candidates and committees, it is no wonder why they seek these elected positions of influence. The State Central Committee is riddled with consultants who view the party as a personal ATM, prioritizing lucrative contracts over electoral success. These self-serving members have blocked accountability measures and reforms, ensuring the RPV remains a gravy train rather than a winning operation while the executive director has taken over $700,000 in salary and reimbursements. The old adage that “No matter if the candidate wins or loses, the consultant keeps getting paid” rings true for our elected state central committee members. The conflict of interest in working for candidates while also being in an elected position capable of leading a ship is disgusting. • Uneven Support for Statewide Candidates: The RPV failed to deliver consistent, dedicated backing to all statewide candidates, favoring some while neglecting others. This fragmented approach left gaps in coordination, messaging, and fieldwork, allowing Democrats to dominate the narrative and airwaves. Every single House of Delegate candidate should be provided with the same exact support as other candidates. Every two years the RPV should be raising a war chest of cash to hand out “starter” checks to each of the 100 House of Delegate Candidates running for office. Whether it be $1,000, $2,500 or $5,000. Each candidate that is willing to run under the Republican flag deserves our support. • Deficiencies in Technology, Machinery, and Donor Relations: Without modern technology platforms, in house tools, user-friendly guides, or robust donor networks, the RPV has handicapped candidates statewide. Outdated systems and poor relationship management have resulted in inefficient operations and insufficient funding, putting Republicans at a severe disadvantage. Relying on consultants to do work that could be done in house wastes time and extremely valuable donor dollars. Without investments in machinery and technology, the RPV severely lacks the ability to compete against any opponent in this century. • Fundamentally Broken Organization: The RPV has failed to transform into a lean, mean activist machine, instead remaining bloated and bureaucratic. The RPV lacks real-world problem-solving expertise, with leaders disconnected from practical goal-setting and execution. This absence of professional management has turned the party into a relic, incapable of driving objectives like voter turnout, issue-based campaigns or goal setting outreach programs. The party should be driving goals and objectives weekly, month after month, year after year. • Failure to Leverage New Laws for Immigrant Outreach: Despite approximately 2,000,000 immigrant citizens calling Virginia home, the RPV has ignored opportunities under new state laws to engage and integrate these communities into our base. This missed chance to grow through targeted outreach represents a strategic blunder of epic proportions. The RPV should be engaging these communities weekly and supporting their causes, yet the RPV does zero community outreach. • Serious Lack of Messaging and Persuasion: The RPV has mandated itself NOT to talk policy or issues. Consultants tell candidates the less information that you share, the more chance a voter will like you. When faced with the blue media, blue messaging and blue onslaught of information, the RPV has mandated itself to remain silent. This serious miscalculation has allowed for the vacuum of communications to be managed and propagated by the left. Without a proper messaging flow like parental rights, 2nd amendment or the 1st amendment, how will voters ever know what Republicans stand for? • Unserious Leadership Exemplified by Mark Peake: State Senator Mark Peake's tenure as the Chairman of the Republican Party, marked by attending galas, posing for photos, and casually showing up on Election Day in a suit while walking his dog, epitomizes the RPV's lack of seriousness. Such performative gestures over substantive work has eroded credibility and contributed to our losses. His inability to think like an activist and drive an activist organization has caused serious damage to our work. Someone should have told Mark Peake that if he wants to be a Senator, then he can give speeches, attend galas and host parties. Activism is about real work, leading troops into battle and planning engagements. He is not an activist. While the Democratic blue wave was formidable, with sweeping victories across the board, Loudoun County Republicans bucked the trend. Under local leadership, we expanded our voter base countywide, increasing Republican vote counts even as statewide Republican turnout retracted. Voters in Loudoun rallied behind our message, proving that with effective strategy, outreach and engagement, growth is possible. If it can be achieved in Loudoun—a diverse, competitive county—it can be replicated statewide under the right leadership at the RPV. Scott Pio warned that if Mark Peake, the executive leadership and compromised State Central resignations do not occur within 30 days, he will personally spearhead "The Mount Vernon Project," modeled after Turning Point USA's successful campaign against the RNC. When Charlie Kirk mobilized to oust Ronna McDaniel and replace complacent RNC members, it revitalized the national party. Similarly, our Mount Vernon Project will launch a full-scale effort to unseat and replace every ineffective RPV leader, restoring accountability and vigor to the Republican Party of Virginia. Importantly, Scott Pio emphasized that the campaigns of Winsome Earle-Sears, John Reid, and Jason Miyares bear no blame for their defeats. These dedicated public servants ran principled races, but were undermined by the RPV's chronic lack of long-term strategic thinking and party-building efforts. The consequences of this leadership vacuum extend far beyond politics. Due to the RPV's inaction and lack of activism, Virginia's kids, families, and communities now face four years of unchecked Democratic rule. This will threaten our First Amendment freedoms through potential censorship and overreach, erode Second Amendment rights with aggressive gun control measures, parental rights, increase drug usage in our communities with legalization of drugs, and compromise public safety by prioritizing progressive policies over law and order. "The time for excuses is over," Scott Pio concluded. "Virginia Republicans deserve better. We demand resignations now to begin the hard work of rebuilding a party that fights—and wins—for conservative values." Britain’s government is collapsing, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s possible resignation tomorrow is likely just the beginning. Starmer was already in trouble before Andy Burnham, the Labour mayor of Greater Manchester, won a by-election on Thursday that cleared his path to becoming Starmer’s replacement. Also damaging to Starmer were Labour defeats in May elections when the party lost more than 1,300 council seats while Nigel Farage’s right-wing populist Reform UK party gained more than 1,350. Reform now leads national polls at around 27%, with Labour and the Conservatives tied at around 19%. Starmer’s net approval has fallen to roughly minus 44, among the worst ever recorded for a sitting prime minister at this stage. Many blame various scandals, such as Starmer’s appointment of a friend of the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as ambassador to Washington. But if Starmer and his agenda were popular, then voters and the press would not have made so much of such mistakes. Across Europe, establishment parties are losing power to insurgents who reject their anti-Western agendas and values. Beatrix Von Storch, a member of the German parliament representing the libertarian conservative populist party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), told Public, “Regarding [the resignation of Starmer], it is a sign of the decline of the establishment parties, which are failing to solve the problems of the day. Keir Starmer is the first to resign under pressure from the new anti-migration movement in Western Europe. Soon [German Chancellor Friederich] Merz could follow.” For the first time, national-populist parties lead the polls in Europe’s four largest economies. In Germany, the AfD leads national surveys at around 28%, ahead of Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s Christian Democrats. In France, Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) polls first, and a November survey projected her deputy Jordan Bardella to win the 2027 presidential runoff against any opponent. In Austria, Herbert Kickl’s Freedom Party won the 2024 election with 29%, its strongest result since the Second World War. In Italy, Giorgia Meloni governs. France elects a president in April 2027, while Germany and Britain are not due to vote until 2029. The cordon sanitaire, or firewall, by which mainstream parties refused to govern alongside the so-called "far right" is rapidly weakening. At the European Parliament, the center-right has repeatedly passed measures on migration and climate with votes from the populist-right, thus eroding the firewall's power. “There are already rumors that Merz will be replaced by his party,” Von Storch said, “after regional elections in September.”...
