"The lobbyists, when they give you money, ostensibly they're not giving you their money. They're not even giving you their corporation's money. They are giving you money from employees of that corporation who have pooled their money into a club or a group. And they've been persuaded maybe by their management that they should give a little back to this because their job would be more secure if they supported their lobbying efforts in D.C." I can't even pretend to be surprised anymore. Congress is the den of liars and thieves.

It is insane that they are allowed to vote on whether they should EXPOSE themselves, their crimes, not to mention what they use OUR taxpayer funds to cover up. A new system needs to be created as a checks/balance on Congress. They should not be allowed to vote for their own pay raises, time off, etc. They should not be allowed to receive any personal "funds" from lobbyists. They should not be able to Insider Trade. They should not be able to vote to protect themselves from the public view of the atrocities they've committed as well as not showing receipts for hush payments. This system is fckd up. We deserve Change and need to demand it.
