OBS not as sharp as Elgato Studio / Capture

The max bit rate effective for 2k video capture is 35mbps (35,000kbps).. I know the good OBS settings if you want em, check my vids for proof

Most likely pixel format difference. OBS defaults to NV12 (basically YUV420P), while capture cards are either NV12 or YUV444P (iirc). So what I'm guessing is happening is that you are capturing YUV444P on the capture card but not on obs. You can change it in advanced settings.

Hmm, which capture card are you using, whats the res/fps going into it, and what are the settings for it OBS ? Is the recording here in both apps at the same resolution?

i shoulda just messaged you first, you prob coulda fixed it in minutes :P this screen was the issue (image) so made video here with the issue, and how i fixed it seems to be on the OBS side? or elgato - which one chooses the resolution there
