Can we appreciate how the actor famous for describing time as anything but linear describes it as linear (I love him sm)

this is why they're my fave tardis duo, it's just david and catherine running around for an hour 😂

This does raise an interesting point that usually Companions remember the original version of any history they change with the Doctor so her now knowing it as mavity does go against this pretty well kept companion rule (but Dr. Who ain't a show to complain about continuity in)

David saying 'temporal' out of character is just brilliant

He really said "from a non-linear, non subjective viewpoint..."

Unfortunately it doesn’t really track with the show’s prior established ‘lore’. The entirety of Series 5 is built around the premise that “being a time traveler changes how you see the universe”. Amy only forgets things that directly affect her personal history/memories.

She has a point though. And not just in the Whoniverse. In pretty much every time-travel show or movie I've seen, a time-traveler retains their knowledge and memories no matter what they do to the timeline.

It’s always been that way. They were on Buzzcocks together. (With Bernard!) and Catherine was no good at Doctor Who trivia:
