Obsessed Wrexham fan appears on Brookside in 1998. Context for younger/newer Wrexham fans - Brookside was a popular UK soap opera in the 1990’s. The fan was a lodger in the house suspected of being a serial killer. Instead, his ‘weird’ behaviour was that he supported Wrexham.

I remember Alun Thomas tipping me the wink at the club shop that he had had a visit from the makers and to make sure I watched it! “He’s not a serial killer. He’s a Wrexham supporter” Words I’ll never forget 😂

Those words are hilarious 😂😂

I thought we could go to a reserves match at the Racecourse.😂 Would love to know some background on the writer/s.

It was a great time in that anyone openly supporting Wrexham was deemed to be a bit strange 😂

Was great to have our minute of fame as we were only ever spoken about during fa cup weekend ha

Remember this one @TheLouisEmerick @MichaelStarke57 ? One of my favourite stories as us Wrexham lot were largely ignored at the time. Don’t think I ever saw Mr Moore at a game though 😂

Remember it was as a fan of both Wrexham and Brookside

Thanks for sharing ...remember being completely speechless when I saw the episode back in the day! Diolch.

Loved watching the omnibus Brooky on a Saturday

lol
