I think it was more horrific to leave Nikki to deal with everything that has happened after Bear made the wish. It hurts my heart that she had no choice in the matter but because it’s a horror movie I think how they ended it was perfect. It’s meant to be devastating

The scripted ending is way more cohesive with the setup, since she'd already asked Bear to kill her before the brick scene. Still, it was so good! Plus, they never implied she wouldn't do it later anyway—that’s likely her choice in the future.

Damn r we ever going to see the alternative ending then since they’ve already filmed it?

They made so many on set changes to the script and they all were perfect.

They should have went with the original idea because there’s no way the Nikki character could move on in life without facing life in prison 💀
