Oburu Odinga - If our Constitution allows demonstrations, let them be allowed — but demonstrate according to the law. Don’t just wake up and say, ‘I want to demonstrate because it is my constitutional right.’ Yes, it is your constitutional right, but the law states how you should do it.

Jesse Watters: “Jimmy Kimmel lied about your husband’s mu*der and didn’t really apologize. What would you say to Jimmy Kimmel?” Erika Kirk: “The same thing I told Sinclair [Broadcast Group]… They asked, ‘Do you want Jimmy Kimmel to give you an apology? Do you want to be on his show? How can we make it right?’” “I responded, I said, tell them thank you, we received their note. This is not our issue. Not our mess. If you want to say sorry to someone who is grieving, go right ahead, but if that’s not on your heart, don’t do it. I don’t want it.” “I don’t need it.”

I have a very important update. There has been a few suggestions that I should not be allowed back on radio because I ran for election. So what they are saying is, I’m not allowed to earn a living anymore? Just to clarify, It’s my constitutional right to run for election and when that’s over it is also my constitutional right to earn a living.

During demonstrations, Police protect, don’t harm. Citizens, stand up when you have reason to do so, but respect the rights of others. Let us all obey the law. That is the right thing to do.

The right to demonstrate is constitutionally guaranteed in Zimbabwe under Sections 59 of the Constitution. It is not a privilege granted by any individual or political actor, including President Chamisa. Every Zimbabwean citizen has the lawful right to engage in peaceful demonstrations and to express their grievances, provided such actions remain within the bounds of the law.

If you are in this country illegally, you have broken federal law. And it is the responsibility of the federal government to enforce that law, to remove you and return you to your country of origin. When leaders in blue states refuse to comply with federal authorities, they are not “resisting,” they are breaking the law themselves. You don’t get to attack law enforcement just because you don’t like the outcome of an election. If you disagree with policy, you win the next election. That’s how a constitutional republic works.

Karl: So you now hit one of the constitutional requirements to run for president. But there’s another one that says you have to be a natural-born citizen. You were not born here. Do you think that’s something that should be changed in the Constitution? It would take an amendment, but do you think that’s something we should change? Mamdani: No, no. I think the Constitution looks good the way it is. Karl: Just the way it is? Mamdani: Just the way it is. I’m very excited to focus on New York City. But thank you for reminding me of my upcoming— Karl: Thirty-five years old. Mamdani: Yes, sir.

🍀 "how do you overcome times when your willpower drops?" 🐻 "when willpower drops, just live with it dropped. just let it flow. and then, at some point, someday you'll have the strength to do it again. but i think the most important thing at that time is to completely empty your mind of any desire to do something. like, 'i don't want to do it right now. i'm not going to do it.' if you can cleanly say that, that's great. but if there's even a little bit of, 'i should be doing it, so why am i not doing it?' in your mind, then it's better to just go ahead and do it. but in the end, when your willpower is down, you can't do it anyway. so in the end, i think it's good to take care of your own feelings. that's how i overcame it."

THE CONVERSATION BEGINS HERE: What does the law provide about demonstrations? 1. Article 37 of the Constitution provides that every person has the right to PEACEBLY and UNARMED to assemble, to demonstrate, to picket, and to present petitions to public authorities. 2. The right to assemble demonstrate, picket and present petitions to public authorities is hence exercisable under Article 37 of the Constitution under two conditional precedents which must be met: PEACEBLY and UNARMED. Have the maandamano we have witnessed being done PEACEBLY and by UNARMED persons? 3. Suffice it to note that the right to assemble, demonstrate and to picket is not an absolute right. 4. Article 24 of the Constitution provides that the right to assemble, demonstrate and to picket is one of the rights that can be limited vide legislation to ensure that the enjoyment of rights and fundamental freedoms by any individuals does not prejudice the rights and freedoms of others. Have the maandamano not taken away the right to property of Kenyans with the mass destruction not only of private property but public property? 5. Article 259(1)(b) of the Constitution provides that the Constitution shall be interpreted in a manner that advances the rule of law, and the human rights and fundamental freedoms in the Bill of rights. To what extent do the maandamano fall within the defined parameters of the Constitution in particular the Bill of Rights? Is looting, destruction of property, anarchy and hooliganism the definition of demonstrations? Certainly not. These are purely criminal acts that have no constitutional basis! The conversation should begin here.

I know this violates the "Law of thermodynamics," but it wouldn't be any fun at all if it didn't now would it? It's a bullshit law anyway. They call them laws so you won't question them... Free energy is your God given right.

CJP DESTROYED THE CHAOS ALLEGATION 🔥 REPORTER: Should NTA and CBSE officials be investigated? SAURAV 🎯: Absolutely. But accountability must start from the top. Dharmendra Pradhan must answer and resign. The youth has had enough. REPORTER: What will happen on June 6? Will there be chaos? SAURAV 🔥: Peaceful protest is our constitutional right. Our demand is simple: Dharmendra Pradhan must resign. If they don’t want citizens to protest, they should say it openly and change the Constitution.

ISLAMIC COLLEGE OF BRISBANE STUDENTS SUPPORT SHARIA LAW. Seven News Media brought Senator Pauline Hanson to an Islamic religious school for dialogue. A young student wearing a niqab told Hanson that she supported polygamy in Muslim countries and only opposed the practise because it is against the law in Australia. Hanson: Do you believe that men should have a number of wives? Student: If in Australia it is not allowed then I believe that they should follow the Australian law because they choose to live in this country. They should abide by the law. However, if they were in a country where it is allowed to have multiple wives and they're OK with it, then I don't see why there's a problem. Hanson: Do you believe in sharia law? Student: Yes. Hanson: Do you believe that should be allowed here in Australia? Student: Not in Australia because it's against the law. But it you look at - it's not just Muslims. If you look at non-Muslim population, there's lots of men with multiple wives. Hanson: But it is occurring here in Australia anyway. Student: Yes. Hanson: Do you believe that you should be allowed to be married off at your parents … to whoever the parents choose for you? Student: Yeah. I don't see why there is a problem with this because my parents know what's best for me. As long as there's a mutual agreement, if the child themself is fine with it, then I don't see why there's a problem..
