While many around the league don’t expect any linebackers to be drafted tonight, if there is one, it certainly could be #TexasAM’s Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper is the most complete LB in the 2024 draft class. He’s shown to be: 1️⃣an elite athlete 2️⃣a consistent and impactful run defender 3️⃣a capable and efficient blitzer, and 4️⃣able to use his size and bend to disrupt in pass protection As a run defender, he finished with an 87.6 PFF grade, highest among any expected draft linebackers in this year’s draft class. That includes 15 TFLs or no gain plays. As you can see (🎥), his downhill force plus balance and control allows him to consistently win in the run game As a pass rusher, he had 7 sacks on the year, 4 of which came from playing on the line of scrimmage. When lined up on the line of scrimmage, he generated a pressure on over 30% of his pass rush snaps. Elite ‼️ And in coverage, he finished with a top-10 coverage grade int eh country last season (per PFF College) among LBs lined up in the box. He’s able to use his length and bend, along with developed vision and timing to disrupt plays from the box. Couple all of that with a 4.51 forty time and would-be impressive athletic testing numbers if he was 100% for the draft process (why he wasn’t able to officially go every day in practice at East-West Shrine Bowl), and it’s hard to ignore his NFL starting potential. There’s a real chance he goes in late round one, but if he’s there on Day 2, he may not only be one of, if not the, first linebacker drafted, but may be one of the first players taken on Day 2 of the draft. #ShrineBowlWhosNext

This is honestly maybe the worst play calling sequence I’ve ever seen from the 1 yard line. - Inside Zone with everybody inside trying to run at Vita Vea - Double Move from the 1 on a ball that we have seen CJ not throw that effectively in the past - Sprint rollout to the left inside the DE when Tampa has 4 players to essentially cover 3 What a disaster.

How about Weevils Baseball taking sole possession of first place in the GAC after a doubleheader sweep of NWOSU? Arkansas-Monticello trailed in both games at one point (7-2 in Game 1 and 10-4 in Game 2), but this offense didn't quit to get two wins by the score of 17-8 and 15-13 respectively. Aidan Garrett homered 4 times on the day, 3 in Game 1 and 1 in Game 2 with 8 total RBI. Chaz Poppy homered 3 times on the day, 2 in Game 1 and 1 in Game 2 with 7 total RBI. Camden Tanner had an excellent game 2, going 4-5 with 2 homers and 7 driven in (5-for-10 in all) #D2Baseball

One of the best things I’ve done as a father is bring home Persa. This cat is literally a rag doll and hangs out all day with my daughter. I’m talking all day, in her arms. She’s also what seems to be a dwarf. What a special little thing. A gift from God, after our dog passed, followed by my MIL. Watching the smile on my daughter’s face truly brings me joy. Not all cats are like this, are they?

Most people have no idea that these photos exist from the surface of Venus. Climate change is real. It’s happening on Venus and it’s happening on Earth. Did you know that Venus may have been habitable at one point in time? It’s known as Earth’s sister planet. Below are some of the only images ever taken from the surface of Venus. One day Earth may look similar to this. There is no argument that climate change is real. It happened on Venus and it’s constantly happening on Earth. Human interaction most definitely has some effects on the planet’s climate change, but so too do non-human factors — even to a greater degree. My hope is that, not only can humans work to slow down the process, but also one day come up with solutions to reverse it.

I think we all knew That Buc-ee’s was going to be a huge success. We’re their northern most store at this point and pretty much at the intersection of 70 and 75. What happened opening day was crazy though. Buc-ee’s has told us that the grand opening day numbers were better than any store they had ever opened on day 1! Buc-ee’s sales volume was over $1,000,000 on opening day. All the hotels from Huber to Miller Ln. were sold out over opening day weekend. There’s no true way to understand the overall economic impact this early, but there’s no doubt it’s going to be huge!!

Seems like a good time to post this again for all the new people just now looking into the #KarenRead case thanks to the McAlberts and Tim Pool - Backing out of 34 Fairview Road just as they did in the early morning hours of 1/29/22 to go home and somehow they just didn’t see their 220lb “friend” dying on the lawn… The McAlberts will tell you “we weren’t looking at the ground” or some bullshit story about how they sat in the car and faced each other to have a conversation. Or “he was covered in snow!” 🙄 Lies. The commonwealth’s expert weatherman testified there was only “enough snow to track a cat” at midnight. The only reason no one saw John O’Keefe lying on the lawn in those early morning hours, including the plow driver who drove by multiple times, is because he wasn’t on the lawn yet.
