PHAC admits it left Rebel News COVID records request in backlog for nearly six years The Public Health Agency of Canada has admitted that an Access to Information request filed by Rebel News nearly six years ago remains outstanding after the file was left with an outside consultant and later moved into an “unassigned backlog.” Rebel News filed the request in October 2020 seeking documents concerning the operations and locations of 11 designated quarantine sites being used by the federal government during the COVID-19 pandemic. She said the file was eventually moved from PHAC's “unassigned backlog” and assigned to an analyst, but added that workforce adjustments have left the department “struggling to keep up with incoming demand.” “Our backlog files are not moving as quickly as they once were,” she wrote. The original request sought records about the operation of federal quarantine sites at a time when Ottawa was imposing sweeping travel and isolation requirements on Canadians. PHAC now says the analyst assigned to the nearly six-year-old request will “prioritize it as much as she is able to.” A request Ottawa initially said would require at least 45 days has now been outstanding for approximately 2,100 days. The father got kicked out by police after he got too emotional…. According to the father andrewcoxsr on IG I debated posting Part 2 because it doesn't paint me in the best light. I'm frustrated. I'm emotional. That's real. I'm not posting this for sympathy, and I'm not asking anyone to pick sides. I'm posting because I've seen so many comments saying, "The police were called... he must've been belligerent." Here's what actually happened. We went to crunch east brunswick My son didn't have ID. I offered his Genesis student profile to verify who he was. They insisted on a physical ID. I asked to speak with a manager and was told he was with another customer. So I said, "No problem. If it's that important, have him come see me when he's done," and my son and I went to work out. The next time I saw the manager... he arrived with police. What bothered me wasn't the policy. It was that my request for a conversation with a manager was never honored before things were escalated. By the time I'm walking towards that front desk I'm frustrated because I still hadn't spoken to the manager I'd requested. In the clip, he says I was asked to leave. I immediately asked the employee who checked me in if he had actually asked me to leave. His answer wasn't "yes." That's why I kept asking. Was I frustrated? Absolutely. Could I have handled parts of it better? Probably. But I wasn't threatening anyone. I wasn't looking for a confrontation. I was trying to have the conversation I'd asked for from the beginning. I'm also not responsible for assumptions people make because I'm a 6'0" man with a larger build. Existing while physically imposing isn't the same as being aggressive. Watch it. Agree or disagree. That's your choice. I just ask that you judge what you actually see-not what you assume happened before the camera started.

Denise was writing it down as we were remembering things.” Oh. Denise was writing it down. Denise was physically in the room. Denise was part of the timeline construction process. Denise is now a core witness to the very first ‘what happened’ narrative. And yet… Jen under oath makes it sound like it was just her and Kerry, desperately trying to “figure out what happened to our friend.” She never says, “Oh yeah, my sister Denise was also there writing the whole thing down… while two officers showed up… while Kerry was on the phone with Proctor… while we were actively constructing a joint narrative.” Not a whisper. Not a mention. Denise apparently took a vow of timeline celibacy. If Denise was taking notes, she's a witness to the creation of the narrative. 50+ DAYS OF HUMILIATION, LIES, FAKE PROMISES, FAKE SERVICE AND WAITING BY Eureka Forbes Eureka Forbes says "Don't buy filters from unauthorised personnel, buy from Eureka Forbes..! " Yet they don't take responsibility for their own defective filters.. I bought a water filter from Eureka Forbes 2 years ago in September 2023, and its filters worked flawlessly for those years. After which we changed them as our Gold AMC was ending and it included a free filter change at the end of the year. The filters were changed in November 2025 after an October request. My product started blinking red light ( that apparently means CHANGE FILTER) in February 2026. I made a complaint to Eureka Forbes in February, their technician visited and told us to change the filters, I told him it's just been 3 months. He promised to bring a replacement and left. Then started the dance of HE SAID SHE SAID by Eureka Forbes The Eureka Forbes representatives didn't come back for a few days. We called and he said the filters are not available. Ok no problem I can wait but then he stopped receiving calls. We talked to his supervisor about the issue he said to contact the EUREKA FORBS CUSTOMER CARE (CC) CC heard our issue multiple times and said: They will register the complaint and look into the matter. When asked how the filters get damaged so soon, one of them said we might have used 6,000 liters (in 3 months in a household of 2 adults and a kid. Then, Eureka Forbes said they don't know the technicals of filters we must connect with the service provider. When my complaints got cancelled again and again, they said we didn't receive their calls ( I didn't even receive a missed call.) when asked for call details they denied and said EVM call didn't connect and we must mail to get any details. Mails was a totally different story; they sent and resend the same computer generated mail as a response and told me to contact the customer care. Thus started the mary go round of service provider -> CC -> email -> CC -> service provider (didn't visit) -> CC. Without any solution. They kept saying we will fast track your request. I kept receiving msg that my visit was cancelled cause I didn't receive their calls. Even received msg that the service provider visited, gave me an estimate, and my service has ended (with OTP confirmation) without any visit or call from either party. After 42 days of complains and calls there was no solution. No one could answer whether faulty filters were installed if not how they got damaged in 3 months. We spend thousands buying AMC so we don't have to worry about water quality and yet here I'm buying Rs.110/- per bottle every other day without any resolution. What should I do Consumer Affairs , Consumer Justice , Consumer Awareness ??

Instead of focusing on healing, teams are pulled off the floor to re-prove the obvious and re-justify decisions already authorized. I would like you to ask yourself: — Is this system helping us care for patients or wearing us down? — Why am I forced to ask permission to do the right thing, repeatedly, and then defend it after the fact? She had come to believe that the Shivling was a genital, that Kanha (Krishna) was a womaniser, and that Draupadi was a woman of loose character. Such shallow knowledge of our own religion makes our daughters vulnerable to this propaganda. The strong conviction about Jannat and Jahannum is another such factor. Anyway, the TCS case has triggered so much outrage only because it happened in a big city, in a big corporate office, a place where no one had imagined it could occur. It’s not always the illiterate people who fall for Jihad; it’s the so-called educated elites as well. I spoke at length about the TCS case as well as other such patterns with Prama Times. I serve as a print reporter with the White House travel pool, which means that my office is on Air Force One. Last Tuesday, while I was in that office, I stayed for four hours acting as a body double for a Boeing 747 and wrote a 600-word account of the event, dating it 'aboard Air Force One', the most desirable byline in American journalism, and on that particular journey, the piece was entirely fictional. After the NATO summit we boarded in Ankara, as is usual. There is a clear hierarchy when it comes to the seats. The AP is given the better one, the wires receive the ones after that, and I ended up with the seat next to the galley, something which I minded for the first 40 minutes of my life as a decoy, until I realised that the galley was empty and that its emptiness was going to become the one most interesting fact of my career. We were asked by the crew to draw the window blinds down for the takeoff, and they described it as a simple task. So we did it. A reporter is professionally unable to turn down a polite request from a man in uniform while at the same time thinking that he is speaking to those in power. I prepared the summary of the summit before we reached our cruising altitude. The President arrives at 11:04 with a cheerful mood, though I created that mood. You always have to invent the mood. That is the only creative freedom the pool allows us, and it was the first time I had entirely made up the President's mood. He wasn't on the plane. As we were finding our seats and discussing quietly about the armrest, the president had gone into an airport catering truck, driven it down to the tarmac just as if it were a very important room-service request, and got on to a smaller jet, a C-32A, taking him silently to Britain. Our 747 took off behind him as a decoy. Since there was a serious threat from Iran regarding the president's aircraft, the government kindly supplied one. It was fully fueled, fully staffed and fully press-pooled. I was inside it, pointing it at the sky like a duck at a shooting gallery, keeping track of my word count. It was a superb move. Having covered this administration for three years, I can say that the catering-truck exfiltration is the most skilled operation I have ever seen it carry out. It was flawless, straight out of a film, with not a single leak apart from the one you are now reading, and I only made that leak because I was the one who had the leftovers. The point that I can't accept is that the president got onto the catering truck. That therefore means the catering went with the president. We were flown for four hours as a live missile target with only ice and one lemon left in the galley, since our snacks had already been dropped in Ankara and had gone to Britain by first class before we did. The most important decoy in the Western alliance, and I was unable to get a second bag of pretzels because the pretzels ranked above me. The pretzels had somewhere else to be. I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the pretzels. I know that this is not the proper kind of complaint; the appropriate complaint is that I was used as bait. However, you can't take a photograph of bait, but you can take a photograph of an empty snack basket, and so a reporter goes with the picture he has. The term 'decoy' wasn't mentioned, since it wasn't necessary. An empty plane doesn't deceive anybody; but a plane carrying reporters who are giving real-time accounts of the president's fine mood can fool a satellite. We didn't cover the president that afternoon. We played a trick on him—off-Broadway, at 40,000 feet—before an audience of a single Iranian targeting officer, whom I imagine watched our transponder with great satisfaction, prepared and sent up his own confident report along his own chain of command, and who is now being asked this morning by his own editor why the target held a press conference in Britain. We refer to it as seat access. Access should imply that I am close enough to be able to see him. For four hours it meant that I was close enough to be mistaken for him by a warhead, a level of access which the AP has never achieved and which I intend entirely to improve in my performance review. I haven't altered the dateline because my desk prevents me from doing so. The value of the aircraft known as Air Force One exceeds that of my house, and I earned it on the one flight during which the only real words in the whole document were the timestamp and the spelling of my name. I serve as a print reporter with the White House travel pool, which means that my office is on Air Force One. Last Tuesday, while I was in that office, I stayed for four hours acting as a body double for a Boeing 747 and wrote a 600-word account of the event, dating it 'aboard Air Force One', the most desirable byline in American journalism, and on that particular journey, the piece was entirely fictional. After the NATO summit we boarded in Ankara, as is usual. There is a clear hierarchy when it comes to the seats. The AP is given the better one, the wires receive the ones after that, and I ended up with the seat next to the galley, something which I minded for the first 40 minutes of my life as a decoy, until I realised that the galley was empty and that its emptiness was going to become the one most interesting fact of my career. We were asked by the crew to draw the window blinds down for the takeoff, and they described it as a simple task. So we did it. A reporter is professionally unable to turn down a polite request from a man in uniform while at the same time thinking that he is speaking to those in power. I prepared the summary of the summit before we reached our cruising altitude. The President arrives at 11:04 with a cheerful mood, though I created that mood. You always have to invent the mood. That is the only creative freedom the pool allows us, and it was the first time I had entirely made up the President's mood. He wasn't on the plane. As we were finding our seats and discussing quietly about the armrest, the president had gone into an airport catering truck, driven it down to the tarmac just as if it were a very important room-service request, and got on to a smaller jet, a C-32A, taking him silently to Britain. Our 747 took off behind him as a decoy. Since there was a serious threat from Iran regarding the president's aircraft, the government kindly supplied one. It was fully fueled, fully staffed and fully press-pooled. I was inside it, pointing it at the sky like a duck at a shooting gallery, keeping track of my word count. It was a superb move. Having covered this administration for three years, I can say that the catering-truck exfiltration is the most skilled operation I have ever seen it carry out. It was flawless, straight out of a film, with not a single leak apart from the one you are now reading, and I only made that leak because I was the one who had the leftovers. The point that I can't accept is that the president got onto the catering truck. That therefore means the catering went with the president. We were flown for four hours as a live missile target with only ice and one lemon left in the galley, since our snacks had already been dropped in Ankara and had gone to Britain by first class before we did. The most important decoy in the Western alliance, and I was unable to get a second bag of pretzels because the pretzels ranked above me. The pretzels had somewhere else to be. I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the pretzels. I know that this is not the proper kind of complaint; the appropriate complaint is that I was used as bait. However, you can't take a photograph of bait, but you can take a photograph of an empty snack basket, and so a reporter goes with the picture he has. The term 'decoy' wasn't mentioned, since it wasn't necessary. An empty plane doesn't deceive anybody; but a plane carrying reporters who are giving real-time accounts of the president's fine mood can fool a satellite. We didn't cover the president that afternoon. We played a trick on him—off-Broadway, at 40,000 feet—before an audience of a single Iranian targeting officer, whom I imagine watched our transponder with great satisfaction, prepared and sent up his own confident report along his own chain of command, and who is now being asked this morning by his own editor why the target held a press conference in Britain. We refer to it as seat access. Access should imply that I am close enough to be able to see him. For four hours it meant that I was close enough to be mistaken for him by a warhead, a level of access which the AP has never achieved and which I intend entirely to improve in my performance review. I haven't altered the dateline because my desk prevents me from doing so. The value of the aircraft known as Air Force One exceeds that of my house, and I earned it on the one flight during which the only real words in the whole document were the timestamp and the spelling of my name. UPDATE ON TODAY’S PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA ON ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU’S CASE: Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case came up today for the scheduled hearing of the appeal. However, the hearing was stultified by the Federal Government's request for an extension of time, to enable them file their Reply brief. It will be recalled that during the proceedings of the 27th April, 2023, the Learned Presiding Justice of the Supreme Court gave the parties, timelines within which to file their respective briefs so that the hearing of the main appeal will go on today. But in their usual practice, the Federal Government started by filing a brief which was in excess of the threshold 40 pages allowed by the convention and practice of the Supreme Court. This fundamental error was promptly observed by our legal team ably led by the erudite man of letters and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, who immediately called the Learned Silk representing the FGN, and further wrote to the Attorney General, notifying them of the obvious anomaly; and requested them to take immediate steps to avoid anything capable of truncating the proceedings of today. On account of this correpsondence, the Federal Government filed another Appellant’s brief of 40 pages, and served on our team on Thursday, by which time they were clearly outside the time granted them by the Supreme Court to file the process. Notwithstanding this obvious shenanigans introduced by the Federal Government to frustrate today’s hearing, we promptly filed our Respondent's brief of argument and served same on them within the time allotted to us by the court. However, unfortunately, when the proceedings resumed this morning, the Federal Government applied for a short adjournment to enable them file their Reply Brief. This was a clear ploy to frustrate today’s hearing. It is indeed in the Federal Government’s DNA to file court processes late hours before the scheduled hearing in Onyendu's matters, at times, they will file and hide their court process from us. Our erudite Lead Counsel Prof. Mike Ozekome, SAN, however, strongly maintained relying on extant laws, that the appeal was ripe for hearing. He even proceeded to appeal to the court to even hear our motions particularly the one for the transfer of Onyendu to the Correctional Center pending the hearing of the appeal. It was part of his compelling submission that that Onyendu's health condition is worsening in the DSS' gulag where he's illegally held in solitary confinement. The Learned Justices of the Supreme Court, however, gave a comprehensive account of their tight schedule which may not even permit them to hear any of the applications today because they have constitional timelines within which to deliver a Ruling or Judgement, which they cannot meet up with if any of the applications is taken today. They eventually adjourned the matter to 14th September, 2023, for the hearing of the two appeals. It is to be emphasized that the Federal Government is employing every unprofessional methods to ensure that the hearing of the appeal is delayed so that Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be kept in solitary confinement indefinitely. The Federal Government was the party that filed the present appeal, but have shown total lack of diligence to prosecute same. However, I want to assure Umuchineke that justice can only be delayed but not denied, the Federal Government can only run but they can not hide. With Y Combinator demo day coming up this weekend, I wanted to reflect on what I learned from YC W14, 10 years on + another company in: 1. The 7 minute espresso rule. Our first meeting with Sam Altman lasted just 7 minutes. The batch hadn’t even officially started yet and my cofounder Ryan Rowe and I drove down from Mountain View to the tiny SF YC outpost to meet him. Sam was making an espresso when we walked in. He opened with – “have you launched”? We said no, too many bugs. Our product Kimono Labs made it easy to just point and click to build a web scraper. Our promise was to get you an API in 60 seconds, without code. But it only worked on a handful of sites at the time. Sam pushed us to launched in 2 weeks. We debated. The espresso finished brewing, he picked it up, looked at us and said, “well, you better get going then and fix those bugs”. We left, launched in 2 weeks and learned one of the most important lessons that day - speed matters. Ship something you’re embarrassed by. 2. There are no experts. Ryan and I were not prepared for the rapid influx of user on launch day. It got tons of traffic on day 1 and we didn’t sleep in the next 48 hours bc servers and database kept crashing. We realized we weren’t the experts and needed to hire one. We went over to Michael Seibel for advice who smiled and told us that in the early days at SocialCam (Twitch) experts thought the streaming video problem was impossible. The answer wasn’t hiring an expert, but hiring someone young, capable and naïve enough to give it an earnest try. So we opted to just figure it out ourselves. 3. Messages in Pizza Boxes. Startups win through incredible customer service, then through product, not the other way around. Seibel told us how SocialCam’s streaming infrastructure went down while a key teammate was unreachable off-grid in a Tahoe cabin for the weekend. Normal people would have waited until Monday. Not Michael. He called a local pizza delivery place and asked the delivery person to send a large pizza with an urgent message in the box to the cabin. Their infrastructure was back up in hours. 4. The Twinkle can matter more than the TAM. Ambition matters just as much as practicality. Before demo day, we were struggling with the end of our pitch. We knew the value of our product, and had a fanatical and fast-growing user base, but the market size we calculated either seemed so ridiculously big that it was not plausible, or so narrow that it was equally silly. Paul Graham and Geoff Ralston sat with us and showed that us that if we can really pull it off at scale, it would be bigger than Google. PG suggested not talking about market size, but just making sure people could see the twinkle in our eyes when we talked about what you might be able to do with a structured copy of the internet that’s larger than Google’s. 5. You’re always at the Origin. Our demo day was successful beyond our wildest beliefs. Afterwards, Geoff drew a chart for us on a whiteboard. It was a hockey stick. He asked us where we thought we were. It was a rhetorical question. He said we were at the origin. Sam doubled down. When he invested in Kimono, he gave us a Zimbabwean Trillion dollar note (the result of extreme hyperinflation in Zimbabwe), as a cautionary reminder that the fundraising and valuation mean nothing. We have channeled this into our culture @TheArenaAI with our ritual around neon shoelaces and a pair of neon track spikes hanging on the wall to remind us that we’re at the Olympic starting line, but we don’t have any medals yet. 6. High bandwidth discussions with users don’t happen over email. The “Collison installation” is part of YC lore. John Collison told us that talking to users live was essential because email and chat conversations were just not enough. We did 100s of Skype conversations with Kimono users + one power user Alex Chung, who I met this way, has become a close friend and even attended my wedding in India last year!

There was some controversy in the Senate yesterday that resulted in my right to speak in the chamber being temporarily revoked by the Labor Government, with the support of the Greens. This happened due to comments I made during a debate where I criticised the Greens for their apologist stance toward Islamic extremist terrorism. As a consequence, I was unable to deliver a speech I had prepared, which called for an end to the excessive use of acknowledgments and welcomes to country. Fortunately, I have strong backup in the form of One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts 🇦🇺 who was able to deliver the speech and instigate this debate on my behalf. Even when they attempt to silence one voice, they cannot silence all of us. The will of the people will always find a way to be heard. Here are the prepared remarks I had intended to deliver: I would like to congratulate the Australian people for their overwhelming rejection of the divisive voice to Parliament at the October referendum. However, it was more than a rejection of the voice. It was a rejection of the entire Uluru Statement – all 26 pages of it. It was a rejection of a treaty and truth-telling – or more accurately, a re-write of history with an eye on financial settlements funded by non-indigenous taxpayers. It was a rejection of identity politics, grievance politics and the activist cult of victimhood. And primarily, it was a rejection of racial division. And one of the most racially divisive features of modern discourse in Australia is welcome to country ceremonies, along with acknowledgements of country. Australians – including many indigenous people – are sick and tired of them. They are sick of being told Australia is not their country, which is what these things effectively do. Welcomes and acknowledgements deny the citizenship and sovereignty held equally by all Australians. They perpetuate the falsehood that prior to 1788, nations existed on this continent. They didn’t. This is a foreign notion, an activist device imported from Canada that does not reflect the reality of Australian history. I remind the Senate of the promise made by leading voice campaigner Marcia Langton who promised no more ‘welcomes to country’ if the voice was rejected. We can only hope this promise is lived up to. Federal taxpayers forked out at least 45,000 dollars for these rituals the previous financial year, although I understand the figure could be much higher as not every government department has come clean on what they spend. It’s not even an genuine pre-settlement ritual for most aborigines. It was invented in 1976 by Ernie Dingo and Richard Walley. I acknowledge Narungga elder Kerry White from South Australia, a great contributor to the ‘no’ campaign, who said these rituals are not even being used correctly. She said last year that it should be reserved for indigenous people welcoming other indigenous people to local country, and that its use by non-indigenous Australians was just virtue-signalling. She wasn’t wrong about the virtue-signalling, that’s for sure. Ms White said: “…they’ve taken our ceremonial process and demeaned it by throwing it out there every day in every aspect of what Australian people do. And I think that is culturally wrong.” She even said ‘welcomes to country’ were an attack on indigenous culture. I also acknowledge another indigenous leader of the ‘no’ campaign, Senator Naminjimpa Price, who said recently that ‘welcomes to country’ were “definitely divisive”. I’m confident I speak for the majority of Australians in saying I wish Professor Langton had included acknowledgements of country too. They’re recited at the beginning of every parliamentary sitting day, every council meeting, and every zoom meeting held by public servants. We hear them at the conclusion of every domestic flight – you can hear the groans in the cabin every time. They have effectively lost all meaning for their constant repetition. To foster national unity, and to help put an end to racial division in this country, it’s time to leave indigenous rituals to indigenous Australians. One Nation is supremely confident we speak for the majority of all Australians regardless of race when we call for an end to welcomes and acknowledgements of country. We know that for many, the promise of an end to them motivated their no vote at the referendum. We call on this Parliament, all other Australian parliaments, all government departments, and every local government in this nation, to stop signalling virtue you don’t possess and stop dividing this country by abusing these indigenous rituals. Australians don’t want them. Australians don’t want racial division, and they said that most emphatically on 14 October at the referendum. Let’s move forward together as one people, one nation under one flag.

An estate transfer is already a stressful time for family, and it can become even more stressful if you add in a crazy treasure hunt to access a fortune in bitcoin. For our basic 3 key vaults, we wanted it to be as easy as using the app. No metal plates, no need to use a hardware wallet, no magic passwords you have to keep track of or else risk messing up the asset transfer. Simplicity is security. So how does it work, in detail? A Vault Owner (Casa member) designates a Recipient (their family or friend) in the Casa app. The Recipient receives an invite to create a free Casa account. The Recipient scans a QR code provided by the Vault Owner, which contains an encrypted version of the owner's mobile key. This encrypted key is only able to be imported by the Recipient's Casa account, and the Recipient can't initially use it or see the vault balance. If the Vault Owner passes away, the Recipient can request access to the vault in their Casa app. This starts a 6 month timer, and sends a ton of notifications every month to the owner. If the owner is still alive, they can reject the request in app. If they are not, the timer will run out. When it does, the Recipient will be able to use the shared mobile key and the request a signature from the Casa Recovery Key for the shared vault. This gives them 2 out of 3 signatures, enough to access the assets. For 5 key vault users, one hardware key is shared with the Recipient. This small increase in friction for Recipients is often worth it for the increased security and resilience of a 5 key vault for larger holdings. To summarize now that you have the details: 1. Share keys and vault access during setup 2. 6 month timelock to ensure no malicious theft 3. Use shared keys and Casa key to access assets Full setup takes less than 5 minutes. Inheritance is one of the biggest problems in self custody today.
