Israel gained their nation state via "terrorist" violence leveled against occupying British forces and Palestinian Arab civilians. Israel would literally not exist as it does today without extremist violence from Zionist Paramilitaries and terrorists Irgun and Lehi.

Hamas effectively had their own state in Gaza and spent 20 years creating terror tunnels rather than becoming the Singapore of the Middle East which they could easily have become had they wanted to. They were not in a ghetto being occupied. Instead they followed their own genocidal charter culminating in Oct 7th which was not an act of resistance, it was an act of pure terrorism. Gaza is not the West Bank so this whole argument goes out of the window.
