Unless you’re an experienced hiker/rider in this terrain and weather, we recommend waiting until it cools down. If you do head out, please bring plenty of hydration with you. #OCFA #orangecountyfireauthority #airops #FIREHAWK

Man people are soft a little heat and send in a helicopter

Stay safe OC hikers. Today's a great day to hit the boardwalks in SC, LB and NB for cooler ocean air. Inland is too hot to hike, and temperatures are often higher than anticipated, or even reported. Always take ice towels.

They should use a water dropper on them and fly away. Lol

Us in the canyon are betting on the over/under for rescues in Black Star this weekend

use common sense before deciding to hike/bike

Even if it's only 80 deg the sun is blazing. Easy to use up your water. Desert southwest low humidity would kill you. But i bet these people aren't sweating enough to cool off in OC humidity.

99° in Mission Viejo a/o 13:45

Wtf is this? It isnt even summer yet. Ffs people drink some water and put on a freaking sun hat

hopefully they are paying for this and not the taxpayer... a heli rescure in aliso is ridiculous. can't just walk down there with an umbrella and a water bottle?
