Here in Tel Aviv, Israelis are setting up memorials to the US servicemen lost fighting as allies with Israel to defeat fascism and protect the entire world for future generations. At this memorial they join the some 2,000 Israelis who were murdered by, or fell fighting, terrorists since October 7. None of them will be forgotten; we all owe them so much.

I spoke of their terrifying ordeal and cried out to the world for their release and the release of all our hostages. We must not stand by. These horrifying images are further proof of the physical and psychological torture our hostages are enduring. And all this while Israel continues to honor its obligation to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza. I stressed again that the key to resolving the crisis in Gaza and across the Middle East is the release of our hostages.

I dedicated my life and platforms to calling for the release of the hostages for 2 years. I stood in their homes after October 7. I hugged parents who hadn’t heard their child’s voice in months. I cried with survivors who lived through the unthinkable. And I promised: I will NEVER stop fighting for you. After 737 days, the last living hostages are finally home. But this is not the end. We will not stop fighting until ALL the remaining deceased hostages are back home for a proper burial. Because bringing them home is not the end…it is the beginning of healing, the beginning of memory turned into action, the beginning of a promise: We will carry their light, we will speak their names, and we will not rest until every soul is honored, and every heart begins to mend. 🙏🏻
