It would be nice if we could do this in the U.S. Not whining. Just see a business opportunity for the unemployed and homeless. In WW2, and shortly thereafter, labor was so short, the government employed even parolees, homeless, etc. Showing up at Town Hall at 8 in the morning guaranteed day work. Clean the city, collect garbage, landscape, fix potholes on city streets. Everything. The towns and cities did this to promote work, employment and fair pay. I raise this because it made the very poor become able to be employed. It didn’t make a few people rich. We need this.
