Kilimani - Ndemi Road The genuine residents of Ndemi Road and immediate streets called out the meeting for not adhering to the notice period. The usual architect fixer for the Chinese, Michire Mugo🙅🏾‍♀️ and a Mr. Gitau (NEMA Consultant) 🤷🏿‍♀️ insisted that the meeting should go on. They acknowledge that this is a 4 storey zone neighbourhood and what they proposed is based on trends. 🚮 The area Chief pretended he was neutral and immediately started praising the proposed development. We shut him down. He left. One guy named Tirop (probably a fixer for the Chinese) hit me and grabbed my mobile. We withdrew from the meeting. Said Tirop went to the garage on the corner of Muringa and Ndemi to rally mechanics to attend. The genuine residents moved to the back of the property to discuss further. Blissful says it will cut ALL trees down and build wall to wall. WHO IS APPROVING THESE PLANS? They care about noone but themselves. Permits have not been issued. We will stop them. Oh, we ripped up the initial sign in sheet. So, the attendance list will comprise non residents who were plied with mandazi, soda and maybe money. The Chinese "owners" couldn't even express themselves clearly in English but lectured us about what Kenyans need. His name is Wu. Could be the Jack Wu of the Chinese Property Developers Association. This proposed "development" is a disaster and one of hundreds in Kilimani that the Chinese have dumped on us. Calling ALL neighbourhood associations to RISE UP and protect Nairobi from the hordes. Manikonda Residents Demand Immediate Road Widening and Traffic Relief Today, residents of Manikonda and surrounding colonies gathered at Marrichettu and conducted a Walkathon up to OU Colony, demanding immediate widening of the Marrichettu–OU Colony Road, which has become severely congested. The traffic situation is particularly unbearable during peak hours. Commuters, pedestrians, senior citizens and school-going children are facing serious difficulties. Most importantly, emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire tenders are often unable to move freely, creating a serious threat to public safety. The Manikonda Praja AIKYA Vedika, a people’s movement, demands the following immediate measures: Immediate widening of the Marrichettu–OU Colony Road to address the chronic traffic congestion. Immediate opening of alternate routes, including the TRAILS–Road No.10, Panchavati Colony Box Drain-cum-Road, which was constructed nearly two years ago at a cost of about ₹10 crore from taxpayers’ money. This road is a public asset and cannot be kept unused or effectively left for the exclusive benefit or usage of a private builder. Construction of the Shivpuri–Chitrapuri route via Jana Chaitanya Colony to provide an additional alternative corridor and reduce pressure on the existing road network. Shifting of the RTA Office from Shivpuri Colony, as its present location contributes to traffic congestion and inconvenience to residents. Immediate shifting of all electrical poles obstructing the carriageway and footpaths, ensuring safe and unobstructed movement for pedestrians and vehicles. Utilisation of all available setbacks for road-widening purposes, wherever legally permissible, instead of allowing them to be used as commercial parking spaces that further reduce the effective road width. The residents demand that all these measures be implemented within a clearly defined, time-bound action plan, with responsibility fixed on the concerned authorities. The people of Manikonda have been suffering from this traffic crisis for far too long. Road infrastructure must keep pace with population growth and urban development. Public roads and public assets cannot be allowed to remain underutilised while citizens struggle every day. If the authorities fail to initiate concrete action within a reasonable and time-bound period, the residents will be compelled to launch a mass movement, including a Rasta Roko programme, to draw the attention of the government and ensure their legitimate demands are addressed. Shortly, an Action Committee will be formed to take this issue forward, coordinate with the concerned authorities, and pursue the demands until concrete action is initiated. Another superlative achievement by the Joseph Vijay administration - a source of unbearable urinal stench in the garb of a TASMAC bar has finally been shut down in Shenoy Nagar! Residents of Shenoy Nagar, which falls under the Anna Nagar constituency, are jumping in joy because the TASMAC bar on First Cross Street (allegedly owned by a DMK-linked strongman), which had been a major nuisance and headache for residents for years, has finally been shut down. People say this has brought enormous relief to the locality. Mind you, this TASMAC bar was located barely 500 feet away from a government girls’ school. Despite repeated complaints from residents over the years, and despite the proximity to a girls’ school, no serious effort was allegedly made earlier to shut it down. This TASMAC outlet had effectively become a permanent stench point in an otherwise decent residential neighborhood. Respectable families avoided using that road altogether whether for walking, riding, or even driving. People allegedly consumed alcohol openly outside the TASMAC shop, on roadsides, near parked vehicles, and in full public view. The bar reportedly had no proper toilet facilities, which led to the unbearable urine stench that engulfed the area for years. For any decent resident, the entire stretch had become an eyesore and a public-health nuisance. Finally, it has now been shut down. This is yet another testament to the resolve shown by CMOTamilNadu to crack down on TASMAC bars located near schools, colleges, hospitals, residential zones, and places of worship. After many years, residents have finally started using this road comfortably again for daily commute, as the bar had reportedly remained a nuisance throughout both the DMK and ADMK regimes. People say it was Anna Nagar TVK Party HQ MLA #RamKumar who persistently pushed for the removal, coordinated with multiple authorities, and ultimately ensured that it happened. Not only was the TASMAC bar shut down, but the locality has also reportedly been freed from the nuisance, disorderly crowd, and unbearable urine stench associated with it. Residents of Shenoy Nagar are profusely thanking Anna Nagar MLA #RamKumar for this intervention. And ultimately, none of this would likely have happened without the administrative backing and go-ahead provided by CMOTamilNadu Joseph Vijay!

🚨Exciting news for archaeology and for human knowledge in general! It has been a long and tedious process, but the Peruvian Ministry of Culture has finally granted permission to export geological samples that will hopefully enable the age of Sacsayhuaman's construction to be determined! Three types of samples have been collected for analysis using different dating methods, and some of them are already on their way to different labs in the US and in Europe. 1 - Soil samples collected from right beneath the blocks that make up the megalithic walls of Sacsayhuaman for Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating – this method is used to determine the time elapsed since minerals like quartz and feldspar were last exposed to sunlight by measuring the light energy (luminescence) released from trapped electrons that accumulated in the mineral crystal lattice due to natural radiation since their last bleaching/reset event (i.e., when the ground was covered by the blocks). 2 - Limestone samples from megalithic blocks, quarry sites and carved bedrock, for Cosmogenic Nuclides dating – this method is used to determine the age of geological surfaces by measuring the accumulation of rare isotopes (mainly ³⁶Cl) produced when the limestone is hit by cosmic rays. 3 - Speleothems samples (calcium carbonate deposits such as stalactite or flowstone) collected on carved surfaces for Uranium-Thorium dating – this method is used to calculate the age of carbonate materials by measuring the buildup of thorium-230 from the slow decay of its uranium-234 parent isotope. This won’t give us the age of the carving of these rocks, but this will give us a minimum age, since the rock was obviously cut before these deposits formed. Additionally, if some organic material is found in the soil or speleothems samples, radiocarbon dating will also be performed, which would give us a fourth means of dating the construction of the site. Whether you believe this megalithic site was built by the Incas or by a much older civilization, science will hopefully put an end to this debate once and for all. And, to top it all off, some limestone samples have also been sent to the Geopolymer Institute of Joseph Davidovits for analysis. This is proof, if any were needed, that not all archaeologists are dogmatic and closed to alternative theories. Now, Let's hope that all these methods will yield results. Whatever these results may be, they will be the subject of a scientific publication, and I will share them here on X, so make sure to follow. This could potentially rewrite history!

Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

NEWS: President Trump GOES OFF on Truth Social: “Once again, The Failing New York Times has attempted to grossly mischaracterize what should be hailed as the restoration of Beauty and Grandeur to our Nation’s Capital as something else completely. Lafayette Park, across the street from the White House, had been left in disarray after decades of neglect and lack of maintenance. The fountains didn’t work, the grass and trees had died, the walking paths and benches were almost unusable. Also, because of security threats caused by rioters and protestors ripping up the stone pavers, and throwing them at our brave men and women from the Secret Service and Law Enforcement, my Administration decided to rebuild and beautify the Park.” “I made a multimillion contribution to the effort, and got others to do the same, but was not in charge of handing out the contract. That was done by the National Parks Service, and they gave it to the largest and most respected Construction Firm, for many years, in D.C., Clark Construction — A greatly respected firm, by far, the biggest in D.C. Not only did we add brand new fountains, but we completely beautified the Park, adding a new irrigation system, sod, trees, park benches, and more. It’s turning out magnificent, under budget, and way ahead of schedule! We want to have it complete by July 4th. Once again, people will come to the front door of the White House by walking through a magnificent Park befitting these Hollowed Grounds, not a dead, dirty, rusting, and very dangerous place like it was before we got involved. In fact, D.C. itself is now a safe and bustling place again. The Crime Numbers are the best they’ve had in Recorded History. The New York Times should congratulate us, instead of trying to make us look bad. We look forward to continuing to MAKE WASHINGTON, D.C. GREAT AGAIN, and want to thank Clark Construction, the Department of Interior, and the National Parks Service on A JOB WELL DONE! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

As promised by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the run up to the just concluded Assembly Elections, works on cleaning of Yamuna have already begun in the right earnest, with trash skimmers, weed harvesters & a dredge utility craft already starting cleaning operations in the river today. Hon'ble Delhi LG VK Saxena LG Delhi yesterday met the Chief Secretary and ACS (I&FC) and asked them to start work immediately. At the outset a four pronged strategy has put in place to tackle the issue comprehensively. 1. To begin with, the trash, garbage and silt in the Yamuna river stream will be removed. 2. Simultaneously cleaning operations in the Najafgarh Drain, Supplementary Drain and all other major drains will start. 3. At the same time, a daily watch on the existing STPs in terms of their capacity and output will be maintained, and 4. A time bound plan in terms of construction of new STPs/DSTPs on drains etc to meet the actual shortfall of treating about 400 MGD of sewer will be put in place and operationalized. The execution of this ambitious plan that targets cleaning the river in about 3 years, will require seamless coordination between various agencies and departments that include DJB, I&FC, MCD, Environment Department, PWD and DDA. Monitoring of the abovementioned works will be done at the highest level on a weekly basis. In addition to this, the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has been directed to keep strict vigil on discharge of untreated effluent into the drains by Industrial Units in the City. It may be noted that the rejuvenation of Yamuna had started in mission mode in January 2023, when the NGT had constituted a High Level Committee (HLC) under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble LG V.K Saxena. However, after 5 monthly meetings of the said HLC which was closely monitoring cleaning operations, the then AAP Government under Arvind Kejriwal moved the Supreme Court and got the NGT order stayed by the then CJI Chandrachud on 10.07.23. Thereafter, works of Yamuna Rejuvenation had again been stalled and CoD/BoD levels that had started improving slightly on a month on month basis, became worse with pollution reaching record levels early this year. *DUC shifted near the signature bridge and is going to float towards Vasudev ghat *Trash Skimmer has started working at Vasudev Ghat *Weed harvester near Signature Bridge Another weed harvester machine has started working at ITO.

SECRET TUNNELS REPORTEDLY FOUND UNDER CHABAD-LUBAVITCH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW YORK! I’m tracking the story of the secret tunnels found under the Chabad-Lubavitch Headquarters in Crown Heights. A Union Street homeowner told several weeks ago that they had been hearing suspicious noises at night in their home for a period of time. As the noise continued, the concerned homeowner notified someone of the sounds and their suspicion. reported that around this same time construction workers found what appeared to be a tunnel underground. Last night vandalism and chaos occurred allegedly because cement trucks were brought in to fill in the tunnels. The bochurim allegedly began disconnecting, hosing and vandalizing the cement trucks. The NYPD was called in and the vandalism continued inside. The bochurim flipped tables and ripped off the walls of downstairs 770 exposing the hidden tunnel. There were reportedly also attempts to pepper spray police officers. One of the more disturbing videos from the incident shows a stained mattress was pulled from the underground tunnel. Also, there’s a photo of what appears to be a baby highchair allegedly found in the tunnel. There were reportedly at least 10 people arrested. Curiously, there’s photos of mainstream media at the scene at around 7 p.m. EST; however, the MSM has been suspiciously silent. This raises red flags — are they all waiting for their 4 a.m. talking points before they cover this? The X page for The Chabad-Lubavitch Headquarters released a statement over an hour ago; however, they made no mention of the tunnels. The statement read: “The Chabad-Lubavitch community is pained by the vandalism of a group of young agitators who damaged the synagogue below Chabad Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway Monday night. These odious actions will be investigated, and the sanctity of the synagogue will be restored. Our thanks to the NYPD for their professionalism and sensitivity.” There’s no clear indication on what these tunnels were used for. I’ve reported extensively on how there’s underground tunnels all over the county that are used to traffic children. Sadly, this is not uncommon. Let’s hope this is not what these tunnels were used for regarding this incident. We’ll see how this plays out.

There is a 50-metre stretch of road in Sector 68, Gurugram, that separates around 400 to 500 families at M3M Marina from the new master road GMDA is building between Sectors 68 and 69. Fifty metres. That is all. And it has been blocked. M3M Marina's original main gate was designed to open onto this stretch. The road that would lead straight to the Sector 68-69 dividing road and from there to the Sohna Highway near Badshapur. That gate has never opened. Not once. For four to five years, every resident of Marina has been using a single secondary gate that exits onto the Aklimpur-Teekli village road. A broken, patchy road through a village. Not a backup route. The only route. Now, after years of court disputes and a stay that was finally lifted in early 2026, HSVP cleared the encroachments on the Sector 68-69 road. Ninety percent of the land is free. GMDA tenders are nearly done. The road that thousands of residents had been waiting for is finally being built. For Marina, this should have meant one thing. The main gate could finally open. Instead, Supertech sent people to the connecting stretch. They physically dug up the road. Residents, including school buses carrying children, were turned away. Everyone pushed back toward the same secondary gate. The same broken village road. The same 700 to 800 metres of extra distance every single day. For 400 to 500 families, the solution was 50 metres away. It was dug up in front of them. I visited Marina yesterday with a client. The frustration on the ground is not dramatic. It is tired. These are families that have been asking for this access for years. They were told the road would come. Now a master road is actually being built right next to them. And they still cannot reach it. Supertech owns that land. Legally, it is within its rights. Nobody is questioning the title here. But sit with the picture for a second. This is the same Supertech that is under NCLT insolvency proceedings. The same builder whose allottees have been protesting outside HRERA, demanding refunds for flats that were supposed to be delivered in 2017. A company that cannot return a single rupee to its own buyers. Cannot finish its own construction. Cannot respond to its own regulatory orders. That company still had the resources and the intent to station people at a road and physically dig it up. A builder that cannot refund its own buyers always has the budget to block someone else's road. They all do. That is one constant across Gurugram real estate that never changes. This is not a one-off story either. On Golf Course Extension Road, there are societies where residents pay a private landowner hefty monthly rent just to use his vacant plot as a road to reach their own homes. Because the planned connectivity was never built. The pattern repeats everywhere. Builders launch, buyers pay, and the last 50 metres of access becomes someone else's problem. Sometimes it becomes the resident's monthly bill. The Sector 68-69 master road is being built. The hope was real. For 500 families, it still is. They are just waiting for someone to care about 50 metres.

My home was a magical place. Only ashes remain. The outpouring of support from community has been monumental and every message, donation, gesture has truly been food for me these last few days. We’ve got a long road ahead of us. We evacuated with only the clothes on our backs so we truly have nothing left. My art, my jewelry, my clothing, my books, my photos - everything curated and collected in my material in my life is now gone, including the home we had poured everything into to buy in the first place. We are underinsured, it will be a battle. Sobering. Hard. Life-Changing. But… I want everyone to remember its beauty and optimism, the joy the disco cabin brought me and so many others who gathered here. At this exact time last year - Punks came together at my home as the sunset kissed the ocean in a sky of pink, sweet tunes drifting over us with tacos in hand. And perhaps there is also something poetic in this total loss, a silver lining I will find one day? This moment was framed to me as the beginning of a new “hero’s journey” and being a lover of Joseph Campbell - and that concept feels true. 🐦‍🔥 “We're in a freefall into future. We don't know where we're going. Things are changing so fast, and always when you're going through a long tunnel, anxiety comes along. And all you have to do to transform your hell into a paradise is to turn your fall into a voluntary act. It's a very interesting shift of perspective and that's all it is... joyful participation in the sorrows and everything changes.”

Fellow Zimbabweans, As a retired Lieutenant General who has devoted my life to the defence and service of our nation, I address you at a moment of profound consequence for Zimbabwe’s future. The matters now before Parliament are not abstract legalities; they are decisions that will determine whether our children and grandchildren inherit a nation governed by democratic principles, accountable institutions, and a genuine possibility of change or whether power will be further concentrated in ways that constrict popular participation and erode public trust. I have watched our country through moments of trial and triumph. I have seen soldiers and civilians alike sacrifice, and I have witnessed the courage of communities who, through their daily toil, keep this nation going. Service to country is not merely a profession; it is a moral obligation to defend the principles that underpin the legitimacy of governance: fairness, transparency, and the right of the people to choose their leaders. It is in that spirit that I make my position clear. I lend my endorsement to Vice President General Constantino Chiwenga as the person best suited, within the current political realities, to resist the constitutional changes set out in Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, and to act as a steward for the preservation of democratic practice and institutional integrity. My endorsement is not given lightly. It flows from three convictions born of experience in governance, security, and public service. First, the content and consequences of the proposed amendments are fundamentally at odds with democratic accountability. Provisions that extend an incumbent’s tenure, lengthen presidential terms from five to seven years, substitute direct popular election with a parliamentary selection process, and enlarge presidential appointment powers, collectively alter the architecture of state power. These changes diminish the direct role of citizens in determining who should lead them, concentrate authority in the executive, and expand patronage networks that can erode institutional checks and balances. For a nation that claims to honour the ballot, reducing the people’s franchise on who should be President is a retrograde step. Second, the timing and context of this Bill cannot be ignored. Zimbabweans today confront urgent social and economic crises: overstretched health facilities lacking basic medicines, deteriorating infrastructure, high unemployment and underemployment especially in the informal economy, rampant corruption, and basic service delivery failures that leave households without safe water or reliable electricity for days on end. It is morally indefensible that when citizens most need competence, accountability and reform, the energies of Parliament are consumed by proposals that could entrench political advantage rather than address the daily hardships of our people. Third, the political arithmetic that undergirds this Bill is clear and perilous. With the ruling party’s dominant parliamentary presence and a fragmented opposition, a shift to an indirectly elected presidency would likely cement one party’s control for decades. This is not speculative; the proposed sequencing of term extensions makes clear that the path being charted guarantees prolonged control irrespective of public sentiment. When the rules of the political game are rewritten by those who stand to benefit directly, the result is a democratic deficit that will weaken public trust and social cohesion. It is precisely because of these risks that I believe Vice President General Constantino Chiwenga represents the most credible internal check within the existing political framework.

🚨Congestion Pricing and NYC’s Self-Inflicted Wound: Are Bus and Bike Lanes Making Things Worse? As a lifelong New Yorker and daily driver, I’m seeing our city’s streets become more congested, less safe, and now, more costly—all thanks to street design choices that haven’t delivered on their promises. With congestion pricing on the way, drivers will soon have to pay extra for navigating roads that are bottlenecked by bike lanes, bus lanes, and pedestrian plazas. These were meant to relieve traffic and improve safety but have done the opposite. Areas like 6th Avenue, Lower Manhattan, and the West Village have seen car lanes disappear, replaced by underused bike lanes and additional bus lanes, making traffic worse. Parking is now dangerously close to bike lanes, where drivers risk being struck as they exit their vehicles. Meanwhile, bike lanes—used mainly in the warmer months—eat up space all year, adding to traffic problems without a year-round payoff. And for pedestrians, the situation isn’t much better. Crosswalks have become hazardous, with cyclists often ignoring stoplights and pedestrians’ right-of-way. What was meant to be a safer design has instead put walkers in harm’s way. Then there are the pedestrian plazas, such as those in Times Square and along Broadway. Intended as public spaces, they’ve funneled more traffic into surrounding streets and often become gathering points for crime, drug use, and loitering. What was supposed to create safe communal spaces has instead added congestion and security concerns to nearby areas. All this comes at a time when New Yorkers are already stretched thin. Between high taxes, soaring costs, and low wages, most can barely afford to live here. Adding a new congestion fee feels like punishment for a problem we didn’t create. So, what do you think? Should we keep paying for these planning missteps, or is it time to rethink the balance of our streets and find a solution that doesn’t leave New Yorkers footing the bill? This is Ozumba Mbadiwe way, a very strategic corridor of the state. See the beautiful buildings on the left and right. Just imagine if Julius Berger or even CECC were given the contract to revamp this road from bonny camp down to phase 1. Honestly, if you enter this district, you would think you are in heaven. Below is a picture of how this same place looked under Gov Fashola, and I will also post how it looked under Gov Ambode in the comments. Sometimes it's good to look at where you are coming from to know where you are going. Your past should not look better than your present. Lagos is a great city, but when people see lapses like these, that's why some talk about it with disdain. Every city in the world needs maintenance. If you don't maintain it, it won't look good to the eye. Lagos is a highly visited city for many reasons, and the state of its strategic infrastructure or likely visited parts matters a lot. In fact, it is one of the government's biggest selling points. I know a train is coming here, but trust me, that does not remove the urgent need to repair this road properly with a competent contractor, from Lekki Phase 1 all the way to Bonny Camp. E1 is coming in a few months, and we need to prepare and ensure everywhere looks its best. The high-rises are already there. The city just needs proper roads and greenery to make it truly breathtaking. Road infrastructure should never, ever be downplayed. It can give even a village a premium look, let alone such a strategic corridor. Look at another semi-coastal city like Kolkata. It has similar terrain to Lagos, yet see how they maintain their city. You see the same elements, bridges, metro systems, skyscrapers. That's what maintenance does to a city. It makes it look attractive, organised, and inviting. But when everywhere is left to become tattered, people will call it overrated. Everything is packaging, especially for a city that is constantly in the public eye. I know the governor has a lot on his plate, but this is urgent, especially with E1 only a few months away. The way the environment looks should be a top priority for the government, not only for residents but also because it helps sell the city positively to visitors, investors, and the rest of the world. The Lagos State Govt Lagostourism Babajide Sanwo-Olu 📷: F1: Current state of Ozumba Mbadiwe way F2-3: The city of Kolkata which looks a lot like Lagos just well maintained version F4: The same Ozumba Mbadiwe way under Gov Fashola 2014,well maintained for its time

Today, North Kivu is witnessing a transformation unlike anything seen since the Democratic Republic of Congo came into existence. A new road is under construction, stretching from Sake to Masisi Centre—marking just the beginning of a new era. The people of Masisi, long tormented by impassable roads, will no longer spend days struggling to survive journeys that should take hours. At the same time, Goma is experiencing a renaissance. Water now flows across the city where, not long ago, people endured weeks—even months—without it. Those once responsible for public services profited from the population’s misery by selling water from tankers. That chapter is closing. Today, water is a right, not a privilege. Electricity is stable and reliable. Since the departure of the Kinshasa regime, blackouts have become a thing of the past. Cleanliness now defines the city, greeting every visitor with a sense of pride and order that was once unimaginable. Security has improved drastically. Goma is now 99% safe, even in the face of challenges created by the reckless distribution of weapons and cash by the previous regime. Our security forces have refused to rest—they work tirelessly to safeguard the people. Areas like Ndosho, once gripped by fear and sleepless nights, now stand as symbols of the peace and stability brought by AFC/M23. Banks are open and functioning, with plans already in motion to extend banking services to rural communities. In the countryside, food is so abundant that the leadership is now focused on opening up larger markets to prevent the surplus from going to waste. All of this has been achieved in less than three months—through leadership rooted in unity, diversity, equity, inclusion, gender equality, and equal opportunities for all children. Imagine what will be achieved in five years! The era of poor leadership is fading like smoke. In its place, the people of North Kivu are witnessing real progress, restored dignity, and renewed hope in the liberated areas. What Kinshasa failed to deliver for decades is now being done—with purpose, transparency, and results.
