Bringing visionOS to real life – Part Deux! We recreated the “Persona” settings of Vision Pro using real frosted glass and a mirror—making it functional, too. This experiment explores how we can (kind of) replicate the user experience outside the headset and translate a digital medium into an analog one. While it was very complicated to plan and construct—including developing a custom hanging system—it also gave our office a fancy new mirror.

Doesn’t matter if it’s raining, snowing, or cloudy; infrared light still passes through and starts your circadian clock through the eyes. No sunglasses, no screens. Let natural UV + IR set your biological rhythm. 😬 but If you start before sunrise, buy a near-infrared lamp and turn it on while getting ready. It’s the next-best option. 2️⃣ 🔵Blue-Blocking Glasses = A Must Wear amber lenses under office LEDs. After 4 p.m., switch to red lenses if still under artificial light. 3️⃣🥋Natural Clothing for Protection Choose natural fabrics like wool, cotton, or linen. They don’t hold static charge like synthetics and let your body breathe. Indoors, pick dark colors (black, navy, charcoal) to block excessive artificial light. Remember: Hair, hand, and neck. New "superman" Four months later, Shanghai-based Matrix Robotics unveiled the Matrix-3--yet another anthropomorphic humanoid robot situated on the left side of the "Uncanny Valley." Unlike Boston Dynamics' Atlas, which is designed for industrial settings, the Matrix-3 is a general-purpose humanoid robot intended initially for service-oriented environments such as supermarkets, hotels, and office buildings. Standing 1.7 meters tall and weighing 65 kilograms, the adult-sized robot features a full-body covering of biomimetic fabric integrated with tactile sensors, as well as humanoid biomimetic muscles. It employs linear joints rather than the mainstream rotary joints. Matrix claims it is capable of pulling or pushing a load of 200 kg. Optimus makes extensive use of linear joints (linear actuators). It is equipped with dexterous hands offering 27 DOF and boasts a battery life of 4 hours. The robot is powered by a model named WAVE(like an E2E World Action Model) Matrix states that it has already established a manufacturing facility in Shanghai's Zhangjiang with an annual production capacity of 10,000 units. The company plans to deliver 1,000 units this year, with the first batch scheduled for delivery by the end of June. Pricing starts at $99,000. Notably, Matrix founder Zhang Haixing previously served as a leader at Tesla China's Design and Research Center, where he was deeply involved in the early-stage R&D and design of the Optimus robot. My bill that will radically change California’s strategy on the treatment of opioid addiction by transforming California from a state with the most restrictive methadone laws in the country, into a state leading in methadone accessibility passed off the floor of the Assembly unanimously. The bill will ensure that people with opioid addiction are able to access this lifesaving treatment by removing outdated laws that were first crafted during the Vietnam war. Methadone is a highly effective medication that eases the debilitating symptoms of opioid withdrawal for people who have quit drugs like heroin and fentanyl. Unfortunately the state’s many bureaucratic barriers to methadone treatment have left medical professionals hobbled in their fight against the spreading fentanyl crisis. We’ve reached a point where the treatment for opioid addiction is much harder to get than the deadly drugs themselves. Dealers are much better at getting fentanyl and heroin into people’s hands than we are at getting them addiction medication. We have to reverse that entirely if we want to save people’s lives. Currently the state’s stringent regulations far surpass federal guidelines, and require patients to jump through numerous hurdles to access methadone including requiring patients to line up in front of specialized methadone clinics every morning to receive treatment. Drug dealers, aware that people with addiction gather together every morning, often prey on these vulnerable former users as they wait in line. In other countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, methadone is widely available in primary care settings. So anybody walking into their primary care doctor’s office is able to enroll into methadone treatment. When someone is on methadone, they are able to stabilize their lives, they are able to get jobs, they are able to reconnect their families, and that chaotic addiction cycle goes away.

So the story is very simple, Malema and Zuma are fighting for a blackman to be part of the economy which Cyril Ramaphosa is not and The Markets want Cyril that a blackman will forever be on back of bakkies packed like this in winter. First drive & impressions of FSD 14.2 in South Central Texas. I just received the update on my 2025 Model 3 & went out to test it on some areas where FSD has had difficulties in previous versions including the previous FSD 14.1.7 and also to get overall impressions. Overall, it did well over about 45 miles of driving on rural highways, congested areas with lots of traffic, construction, grocery store busy parking lots & rural post office destinations. Although in general it did very well in a variety of situations, a few stood out that I want to highlight where I did have disconnects & unusual behaviors that seem to have been introduced with FSD 14.2. Summary of Strengths: Smooth, confident most of the time, and polished. Felt comfortable at all times while FSD was driving the car. This includes all of the driver settings (Sloth, Chill, Standard, Hurry & Mad Max) Opportunities & areas with challenges: - Navigation database mismatches really becoming a glaring deficiency with the approach Tesla AI is using, not just because of recent or ongoing construction, but also with established routes, roads & destinations - FSD 14.2 stopped unexpectedly at a gas station that was not part of the route or any destination in the route. After parking, I tapped the Start Self Driving button and the car resumed as if it was starting at an intermediate stopping point & it continued on to the original destination. - A second strange Navigation challenge happened when arriving at my home. For no apparent reason, it tried to go to my neighbors house … something no previous FSD version has done. Very strange. - Construction prevented FSD from entering into the selected grocery store entrance, but instead of taking several obvious nearby detour routes or doing a U-turn, it re-mapped the route & drove a few miles past the grocery store & into a residential area, did a turn around & then rerouted all the way back to the grocery store. This was several miles of added driving & passed numerous paths that were much closer & available. - Parking in angled parking spaces continues to be a big challenge for FSD 14.2 … it took up two parking spaces & at an odd angle when parking at a rural Post Office, disregarding the painted signs & angled marks on the parking spaces & the sign posts for the parking spaces. It also attempted to drive the wrong way in the one-way parking area. - Speed profiles seem a bit better, but speeding, especially in my neighborhood area is still excessive. For some reason, a posted 25 mph section showed a 65 mph speed sign on the MCU display & FSD tried to drive to that speed. This might be related to navigation databases mismatches issues mentioned earlier. In summary, I think Tesla FSD 14.2 shows some promising signs of progress, but still has several areas that need additional work, the biggest of which is the navigation databases mismatch issues. I’d like to see some way for owners to provide inputs to the FSD team to provide navigation map updates that can help fix these issues. Also, having a way to “train” FSD in specific areas, say at your home so it knows how to properly enter the driveway, back into the garage, select which side of the garage, etc… would be very helpful.
