After some googling, I was amazed to find out Word Perfect released a new version in 2021! What???

It genuinely feels weird seeing stores that still sell boxed codes cause you think they contain cds but no, it’s just a code and a download link possibly a QR code and that’s it. They waste so much cardboard on it why I don’t understand.

The MicroCenter I worked at had much of the same software in its software aisle.

I love office supply stores, they're mini purgatory rooms like you've been isolated from the world.

Man, I loved going into Staples when I was a kid in the 1990s. I remember in the late 90s, I would always be excited to see Half-Life on the wall of games there.

If that NordVPN box is anything like the Norton boxes, it's probably just a single piece of paper with a code on it in the box. Which seems wasteful to me.

I was up at Best Buy a few days ago. My old Netgear router finally kicked the bucket. The only choices they had were a $650 Asus thing with some sort of "AI" firmware to help making the ISP connection, and a $99 T-Link that did none of that. I'll say I did not get the Asus.
