MINNEAPOLIS: Officers were in pursuit of a driver who had just fled from an attempted stop in Dakota County, reportedly for running a red light. The driver then fled from State Troopers and Bloomington officers, northbound on I-35W until two PIT maneuvers were used to disable the suspect vehicle near 50th Street around 2:30 p.m. After the second PIT, officers boxed in the vehicle and took the driver into custody a short time later.
