Just slightly over three weeks ago - 24 days to be precise, I presented the 2025 budget proposals to the joint session of the National Assembly themed, “2025 Budget of Restoration: Securing Peace, Rebuilding Prosperity” As I said to our Federal Legislators, we are building a Nigeria where peace reigns, opportunities abound, and every citizen can dream, work, and thrive in safety. We have to move forward, not as individuals but as one united nation, determined to rewrite our story for the generations to come. But the Summit of the Future showed that with a spirit of dialogue and compromise, we can join forces to steer our world to a more sustainable path. As this year’s #UNGA activities wind down, we must remember that this is not the end. It is in all our interests to choose the future we want and to guide our world towards it. The journey continues. Let’s keep going.

We have been blessed to have 150,000 people from around the world praying daily for nine months to Our Lady. This is truly momentous and miraculous. I want to share that as these historic nine months come to a close and we prepare to make our solemn consecration to Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12, we will also make a special novena within a novena. For the final nine days, beginning December 3, we will make a powerful final novena in order to persevere and obtain the graces of our consecration.
