Police reportedly say Lil Tjay's associate allegedly shot Offset after Tjay instigated a fight with the former Migos member. More details are coming out surrounding the shooting of Offset at Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fla., on Monday night (April 6). According to a TMZ report published on Tuesday (April 7), a police affidavit obtained by the celebrity news site notes that things started after Tjay arrived in the valet area with his team and spotted Offset before directing "members of his party to start a fight" with Offset and crew. A brawl ensued, which Tjay reportedly recorded on his cell phone. In the process, someone with Tjay pulled out a firearm and shot Offset. The brawl went on until police arrived. Offset was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Tjay has since been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Police are still trying to identify one or more people who could be involved in the incident. After being released from jail on Tuesday, Tjay called Offset a rat for telling the police that Tjay shot him. XXL has reached out to the Seminole Police Department and Lil Tjay's attorney for comment.

During the sit-down, Lee asked N.O.R.E. about his issues with Offset. "I asked a certain thing to a certain individual on a certain artist and [Offset's] peoples were there," N.O.R.E. explained, later confirming he was referencing the interview he did with Quavo and Takeoff in 2022. "Offset called me. And I might not have complied to his conversation when he wanted it." N.O.R.E went on to say that Offset called Diddy, believing that Puff owned the Drink Champs podcast and would be able to intervene. The rapper-podcaster later confirmed he removed the part in the Quavo and Takeoff interview where he asked Quavo about the rumors of Offset sleeping with Quavo's ex, Saweetie, because N.O.R.E. "respected man code." He also said the clip will never see the light of day. Following Quavo and Saweetie's breakup in 2021, rumors began to circulate that Offset slept with Saweetie. On Monday night (Sept. 22), Wunna was the special guest for Apple Music's One Night Only at the Apple Music Radio Studio in Los Angeles. The chat featured the Atlanta rapper opening up about his relationship with frequent collaborator Offset. "The way we work is organic, it's not forced," Gunna says. "When we get together, it's more or less fun. We having a good time. He come with the beats, or I might come with the beats. Turbo come in and we just collaborate. We actually put that battery in each other back when we in the studio, too. That's how the music sound how it sound, too." When asked by host Ebro Darden about the possibility of a Gunna and Offset collab project, Wunna confirmed one is already in motion. "Definitely," Gunna says. "It's in the works. We spacing it out.
