They stabbed us in the back. I still won’t sit down. I want the country I grew up in so my kids get the same shot I had. They don’t have it. I will die on this hill. I will not stop speaking. Keep fighting.

Tony Parker on Ray Allen’s iconic game 6 shot against him and the Spurs in the 2013 NBA Finals: Tony: “it happened so fast…I wasn’t trying to foul him…I tried to do the best I can to contest one of the best shooters in our league and he made a helluva shot and everytime I look at it — I’m like how did he even make that shot…” Wade: “after practice Ray Allen would always sit on his butt on the block and he would back pedal to the 3PT line…he did this at practice everyday so it was amazing that it was Ray Allen because if it was me it would’ve been a whole different shot…” (via Wy Network by Dwyane Wade)

"Why did I perform at the music festival? Why did I donate all the money? Because at the time, everyone was saying that people with Depression can’t work. But I didn’t believe that. I’m just stubborn like that. I wanted everyone to see that I can work normally too and that I’m also trying hard to get better." #ZhaoLusi

🎙️ Christian Anderson on the key to his shooting success: "I've been working on it ever since I was young. I've always been the best shooter everywhere I went... just being in the gym countless hours, working on my shot." "When it didn't feel right, going to the gym, working on my shot. If I didn't shoot well in the game, going back to the gym the same night, working on my shot. I put so many hours into developing and trying to get to a point where my shot felt perfect, and I've been doing that my whole life."

Kawhi Leonard on making his 7th All-Star Game after all the injuries: “For the people that don’t know, you should just see the hard work that I put in. You don’t get to see the behind the scenes. To keep getting to a level that I’m getting to, it’s definitely mentally challenging and physically as well. A lot of people definitely can’t do it.”

I know yall see what I see.. Look at this shot making! Krishen Atwal (Krishen Atwal) 6’6 guard has entered the Transfer Portal. Entering his junior year i expect him to draw interest from multiple mid major and high major programs..elite shot making like this doesn’t grow on trees. He’s a guy you can get the ball to at any place on the court and he’s going to put the ball in the hoop. What program do you think can use him??

Tom Holland says Christopher Nolan shot a massive Odyssey fight in two days that Marvel would spend two weeks filming “The thing that really amazed me was he’s so prepared when he comes to set that it means he can shoot at a pace that I have never shot at before” “Scenes that would take three days, we would shoot in one. The sequence that you shot at the end of the movie, one of the biggest and most complicated fight scenes I have ever seen, I think you did it in two days” “On a Marvel set, we could shoot that scene for two weeks. Getting accustomed to the speed in which he shot was really fun and very exhilarating”

"I'd love to shoot more shots. Coach gives us the green light, I'm gonna take the open ones ... I think I have passed up on some this year but I think going forward just take the looks that I want to get and not letting the defense dictate me at all and just playing the basketball that I want to play and the shot I want to get." Cooper Flagg speaks on his selective 3-point shot and attempts so far into his NBA career.

Hakeem Olajuwon talking about his shot blocking “I enjoyed that part of the game more than anything else. In fact, you know, the toughest part for a shot blocker is to get a shot block. That’s like you feel so defeated. I would take a bad shot before you get to block my shot. I mean, I think in basketball as you know, there’s a different respect for a shot blocker because you have to watch anytime you go in the lane, you know, he’s coming” (Via Boardroom)

JR Smith on how NBA teams really don’t care about their players: “That’s why I love K Love because he talk about it all the time like the mental aspect of it. The emotional, the depression all that sh*t bro. Like getting hurt and not being able to play, getting hooked on pills. Bro, I went through all of that sh*t. I played for the Knicks. I tore my meniscus. I had to sit out. Came they rushed me back. I’m hurting the whole time. I get addicted to pain pills. They know it. Pain going out doing all that. You don’t come to me be like, Yo man, you good. Like what can we do to help you, bro? Nah, he’s terrible. He’s this. He’s that. Shipping him over to Cleveland. He’s a throw in for the trade. Like I’m dealing with a lot of sh*t y’all don’t care. You literally don’t care at all.” (Via Pivot Podcast)
