Some of these yes weren’t his fault but he literally never did anything. He ran backwards to lose more yards. He fumbled. He didn’t throw it away. He didn’t checkdown. He also missed every fucking throw outside of this

It pays to know ball on Sleeper 🧠 Just predict 2+ player stats correctly and cash in big 🤑

Just throw the WR screen to JJ easy. Hock was unguarded on 3rd play. He had Jones over the LB for pretty easy 1st down. Fumble 6 was game killing play that was a missed 1st down. You overlook the obvious checkdowns like Darnold did.

Every single sack was Sam Darnolds fault

Amazing that Minnesota did nothing different after Detroit exposed them. Zero quick game in the passing game. Even on a few 3rd and 4th and short yardage the routes take forever and not enough quick get the ball out fast options. KOC was not Good

“No where to throw the ball” The defender is behind the receiver. A lot of QBs make this throw.

1st sack: throw the ball away 2nd sack: take off and run or give Addison a chance at a contested catch down the right sideline 3rd sack: not on the QB 4th sack: Hockenson is wide open 5th sack: take off and run 6th sack: not on the QB 7th sack: should have absolutely been a TD to Addison down the right sideline

Funny how you want to give all this context for Sam Darnold despite him being in a far more ideal situation and far less of a resume than Russell Wilson who has to deal with worse scheme and worse players around him.

Jefferson was wide open for that screen pass you can’t ignore that

I usually like your analysis, but this is not your best work IMO. Just got through the first 6 and in 2-6, he had outlets that he saw and just had to make the an anticipated throw to open receiver. ALL of those could be attributed to Darnold just not pulling the trigger.
