To say there is nothing around Soldier Field is absolutely incorrect. Shae may be a Bears fan but I question whether she’s truly been outside the stadium because there are plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. The stadium literally sits in the middle of downtown.

Soldier Field: No real mass transit, limited tailgating, smallest venue in the NFL. ARL - good highway access, rail lines, and a vacant plot of land. Regarding this 20 minutes from Soldier Field comment, try driving from anywhere in the area to Indiana. LMK how it goes. 294 much?

The mayor of Hammond just got the green light to build a 5 billion dollar stadium, while Chicago is still stuck going back and forth over tax breaks in Arlington Heights. Moving to Indiana sounds wild at first, until you realize it is only about 20 minutes away and you might actually get to a game on time. At this rate, the Indiana Bears era might be closer than people think.

She's not wrong. I've been to over 20 stadiums in the NFL most several times and Chicago is near the bottom for sure as it relates to experience.
She is not wrong but how are 30-40k fans going to Hammond Indiana from Chicago going to get there with no traffic delays? Have you ever driven to Hammond Indiana from downtown Chicago during rush hour? This is what the traffic load will be on game day.
