I didn't really care about pentious in the pilot, so when the change happened I didn't even bat a eye. He really seemed like a one off villain that would only appear once and never again, i was actually surprised when he joined the hotel. But what they did to stolas is criminal

Pentious was definitely changed alot from the pilot to a full show. Especially if we look at the early concepts for the episodes before being picked up by amazon.
